The Great Thanksgiving... All baptized, believing Christians are welcome to the Lord’s Table. Come forward down the center aisle, pick up a glass and follow the directions of the ushers. Glasses of grape juice are available in the center of the tray. Gluten free wafers are available. If you are unable to come to the altar, please inform an usher so that the Eucharist may be brought to you.
For Children Ages 2—6: Busy Bags are available near the Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) Table in the back of the sanctuary. One bag per child, please, and return bags to the bin following worship. Nursery care: There will be no nursery care during the service.
The gospel for the third Sunday of Easter is always one in which the risen Christ shares food with the disciples, meals that are the Easter template for the meal we share each Lord’s day. In today’s gospel, Jesus both shares the disciples’ food and shows them
the meaning of his suffering, death, and resurrection through the scriptures: the two main elements of our Sunday worship.

Loan Fund Application forms are now
available for the NJ Synod Wurffel College Loan Fund. Loans are for undergraduate study only. Any member of a NJ Synod, ELCA, congregation planning to attend or enrolled in a matriculated program of study in an accredited 4-year or 2-year college or university may apply. Priority of consideration is given on the basis of financial need and activity in the life of the church. Further information and application forms are available in the church office. Deadline for application is June 15.

The Reverend Elaine C. Quincey
Pastor Quincey was born and
raised in Pittsford, New York.
She graduated from the State
University of New York at
Buffalo and worked as a
medical technologist for ten
years, three of which were as a
Lutheran missionary to Phebe
Hospital, Liberia, West Africa.
Upon returning home she
enrolled in the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and
was called as a Pastor in the Upstate New York Synod. She
was ordained in 1990 at her home congregation – St. Paul,
Pittsford. She has served as settled and interim pastor in
congregations in New York, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, and
Connecticut. Pastor Quincey also completed a two year
residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at St. Luke’s
Hospital, Bethlehem, PA and has worked as a hospice
chaplain. Pastor Quincey understands that serving as a
pastor in the church is an honor and privilege and that all
the baptized are called to share the Good News of God in
Christ. She is committed to team leadership in the
congregation as we do “God’s Work with Our Hands.”

Flower Sale The Senior Youth Group is selling flowers to raise money for the Youth
Gathering in Houston. Orders are due by April 15th. Pick-up is Saturday, May 5, between
