The Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments
is seeking an Executive Director. This is a full-time FLSA-exempt position. The Board is seeking someone with a track record of positive results as a strategic leader, a strong executive presence, and the ability to establish and enhance strong working relationships at all levels of the organization and the community. The successful candidate will be an ex-cellent and open listener, have a track record of decisiveness and effectiveness in making tough decisions, be an excel-lent written and verbal communicator, and will be someone who embraces and proactively manages change. A competitive compensation and benefi ts package, consistent with like positions in the region, will be offered. The applica-tion process will remain open until fi lled, with a target date of having the position in place in early to mid-February 2020. The position is located at the UAACOG Administrative Offi ces, 3224 Indepen-dence Road, Canon City, Colorado. The successful candidate will be required to reside within the region.
