Evolved NEBULA is the next generation infrastructure for mission critical users. Based on the successful NEBULA TETRA/P25 architecture, with hundreds of references worldwide, eNEBULA incorporates LTE technology natively in its design to complement its narrowband offer.

eNEBULA can provide a wide range of base stations for TETRA, P25 and LTE technologies:

The new core equipment of the eNEBULA infrastructure provides in a single network design, TETRA/P25 + LTE services. The solution incorporate a 100% Teltronic LTE design, based on the same components and architecture of its outstanding NEBULA infrastructure. With evolved NEBULA, TETRA and LTE share the same core equipment, based on the latest and most powerful hardware components and operating systems. eNEBULA allows optimizing CAPEX and OPEX by sharing hardware components and design architecture, even network management is carried out from a unified network management system.

eSCN (evolved System Control Node) provides the main controllers for TETRA, P25 and LTE at regional level. eNEBULA has been designed to be easily scalable. For small or medium size networks a single eSCN can do the work, integrating all the base stations required to provide coverage. For larger systems, several eSCNs can be connected together, enabling shorter set up times for calls, strengthening reliability and optimizing backhaul design for the enhanced data capabilities provided by LTE. For those regional or national networks, the SIS (Segment Interconnection Server) delivers a state-of-art switching capabilities for voice and data communication between different regions. Based on the latest ATCA (Advanced Telecommunication Architecture) hardware, the SIS can simplify a changeling network design and optimize the overall performance of the system. eSCN and SIS can be deployed in a full redundant configuration.

For managing the network, the eNMS (evolved Network Management System) based on FCAPS industry standard, it provides an intuitive but powerful tool to configure, motorize and check the performance of all components of the TETRA and LTE network, including a unified subscriber management.

When interoperability with legacy system or even other agencies system is a must, eConnect features from a simple talkgroup2talkgroup voice patching interconnection to a more comprehensive integration that enables other services such as private calls, encryption services, data transmission or DGNA.

eSBS: With its outstanding 75 watts (TETRA) / 100 watts (P25) of RF output power from each repeater and triple receiver diversity, eSBS delivers the best coverage performance available in TETRA or P25 networks. Optionally the eSBS can also include a LTE eNodeB, to provide both TETRA and LTE coverage from a single site.

MBS (LTE): Teltronic’s Evolved Mast-mounted Base Station (eMBS) has been prepared to be easily installed on walls or towers with minimum cost. Its excellent design does not require any additional unit at the bottom of the tower. These advantages considerably reduce the installation costs, making the MBS a very cost-effective system. In eNodeB configuration it features a 10 + 10 watts, with MIMO capabilities.

MBS (TETRA): Teltronic’s eMBS with TETRA configuration, is a complete 1-carrier TETRA base station. Its main goal is to improve coverage in shadow zones, where an indoor base station is not necessary or recommended. Its modular design allows it to be easily upgraded to two TETRA carriers with an additional unit. Furthermore, as the MBS is designed for outdoor operation, the system is able to work under the harshest weather conditions.

DBS: The Deployable Base Station is a TETRA base station developed by Teltronic of reduced dimensions and easily transportable. The DBS can be quickly deployed and installed in any place where the coverage must be strengthened or network traffic capacity needs to be increased. Besides the DBS may be of great use when facing natural disasters, making it possible to replace the damaged communications infrastructure in a quick manner or providing affected zones with coverage.

PBS: The Portable Base Station is a TETRA base station whose design is based on the Teltronic MBS (Mast-Mounted Base Station). Its light weight (less than 40 Kg) and its design with wheels make it possible to be carried by only one person. It is prepared to work outdoors, what makes the PBS the optimal communications infrastructure solution to give the quickest and most efficient response as possible in natural disasters or emergency situations.

HTT One: Featuring a colorful 2’’ QVGA display, 1.8 watts RF power and a comprehensive set of TETRA features, the HTT One comes with three different flavors: full keypad, limited keypad and a blind model (no display, no keypad). It also includes a second rotatory knob for fast talk group selection. Mechanically it provides IP-67 enclosure, to go along with you in the toughest duties. Bluetooth, E2EE, GPS, Smart card, man down to name a few, are some of the possible options for our new handheld radio.

HTT Lite: If you want to stick to the basics and avoiding some complexities of the new digital systems HTT Lite might be your pick. The most compact PMR-grade radio of the market only measuring 102mm long, it is still rugged, featuring an IP-67 enclosure. The unit comes with GPS option to enable location services.

HTT-500: This portable radio is all about coverage, audio quality and reliability. It packs an unmatched 3 watts of RF power for improved coverage. As the HTT one, its intuitive graphical color interface is easy to get used to and efficient even in an emergency.

MDT-400: Its 10 watts of RF output power provides the best coverage available on the TETRA market by far. Then, add specialized off- the-shelf solutions and a remarkably flexible design that can be tailored for complex applications such as telemetry. Now, you can begin to appreciate why the MDT-400 mobile unit is being used in so many networks around the world.

TRM-300: Is a radiomodem, consisting of a combined radio and a control board. Its small dimensions and light weight makes installation easy for a wide variety of professional environments. It includes all TETRA data services such as status messaging, Short Data Services (SDS), circuit mode data and multi-slot packet data.

MVC-6000: Teltronic’s vehicular console has been designed to provide a single MMI interface for different wireless technologies. 3/3.5G, TETRA, P25, WiFi, WiMAX and/or LTE could be integrated seamlessly and transparently for the users. The MVC-6000 offers advanced radio management, web browsing, Mobile CAD functions, mobile office applications, GPS navigation and complements the functionality with a powerful video management platform, with enhanced recording capabilities and ability to receive and transmit video just to mention a few features.

Motorbike unit:Teltronic offers a wide range of wired and wireless solutions for motorbike operation, using its range of mobile and portable radios.

In a wireless configuration, users can benefits of the built-in Bluetooth functionality of Teltronic’s portable radios or the Bluetooth® adaptor for the mobile radio. Users can use Bluetooth® enabled helmets or headset for a standard helmets or even wireless Press-to-talk buttons.

For the mobile unit, a IP-67 control unit can be provided to control the most usual functions of the TETRA radio with ease.

One key application that can boost your daily operation over a 3G or LTE network is mobile video recording. But, even further, Teltronic is able to provide an additional range of video services, all integrated with the rest of its mission critical portfolio.

You can focus on the application that helps you the most on your work while Teltronic takes cares of the

technologies laying below.

A real-time video streaming can be a crucial tool in Command & Control Centers to successfully solve an emergency situation. Similarly, analyzing a video recorded by police cars cameras during an incident management can provide useful data to improve future agency performance. However, coping with hundreds of mobile and fixed cameras is always a technical challenge. Teltronic overcomes these demanding requirements with a fully integrated solution, able to perform distributed recording and with optimizing policies that enhance the capability of the internal storage of servers and on-board computers.

At vehicle level, Teltronic’s vehicular console MVC-6000 comes loaded with outstanding video capabilities. The unit is able to integrate both analogue or IP cameras, delivering H.264 coding and a large portfolio of cameras including PTZ domes. Our solutions in License Plate Recognition are able to perform at best rate even in mobility (up to 98%) with an amazing processing time of less than 100 milliseconds. In fixed environments, both centralized or distributed recording is available featuring high capacity servers with redundancy capabilities, our “city eyes” can be thermal, rugged up to IP-66 and detailed up to 10Mpx. In the Command & Control Centers we can monitor the status of all the cameras, as well as their performance and to distribute a single video stream received through a wireless network to several operators positions, optimizing required bandwidth. Video information adds on to the critical voice and GPS location received through TETRA or P25 from field units, and can be shown together on a map in the GIS module.

Integrated Solutions

One of the factors that will determine whether or not a video solution is useful for your agency is the integration degree with the Command & Control Center. Teltronic is also a manufacturer of comprehensive Computer Aided Dispatch solution which include radio dispatch, Records Management and GIS services. CeCoCo, brand name for Teltronic Control Center solution, is fully integrated with all video systems available in our portfolio such as fixed and mobile video surveillance, access to stored video, License Plate Recognition data, among others.

Bluetooth®: enables more freedom for audio & data connectivity in radio terminals (without leads), using different Bluetooth® accessories simultaneously: headset, data and PTT devices. SDM: The massive incorporation of data in systems initially designed to support voice applications may affect the normal operation of the system. For instance, with the common built-in GPS receivers in TETRA radios, users expect to have a real-time location service without disrupting network voice operation. With SDM (Synchronous Data Manager), Teltronic has developed an optimized polling procedure that eliminates typical collisions when transmitting data in random access technologies. The optimized polling method integrated in the eNEBULA system allows reducing up to 60% of the channels that would be necessary compared to an asynchronous solution.

E2EE: The Teltronic E2EE is based on a tamper proof hardware module. It is a high level solution that automatically destroys the Security parameters when there is a tampering detection. It provides all the encryption, decryption, key management and key storage services required for use in a TETRA communication system and meets the security requirements for cryptographic modules standard from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Teltronic offers a complete E2EE solution composed of subscriber terminals, infrastructure gateways, voice calls recording and key management tools that address the cryptographic needs of the network.

WAP Services: WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) provides an universal standard to access interactive applications from the terminal. Examples of such applications applied to professional environment are: databases of license plates, IDs, photographs, stolen items, assigned tasks, etc. Even more, WAP Push services are also offered, sending broadcast events to the terminal that allow it to automatically download the information.
