“… THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD.” —Mark 1 : 1

For over 60 years.

ONE MESSAGE.

“None of these [tribulations] move me; nor do

I count my life dear to myself, so that I may

finish my race with joy, and the ministry which

I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the

gospel of the grace of God.” —ACTS 20:24

DEAR FRIEND,

Only one message is powerful enough to

bring hope in every situation. Only one

message can transform people’s hearts and

bring hope to the nations of the world. Only

one message can bring hope out of despair.

Only one message truthfully offers salvation.

Only one—the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic

Association (BGEA) has preached this

message in every way we know how and to

everyone we can. Each day, about 150,000

people slip into eternity—the vast majority

unprepared; “dead in trespasses and sins”

(Ephesians 2:1). We sense the urgency of the

hour—to proclaim the Gospel in every way

possible, because the day of the Lord is near

(see Obadiah 1:15).

Please pray that we will remain faithful in

these extraordinary opportunities that come

from God’s hand. The eternal results belong to

Jesus Christ with all glory and praise, for He is

“the Lord of the harvest” (Matthew 9:38).

The following pages will give you a glimpse

of what God has done around the world in

2014 through the proclamation of His Word.

We are thankful to you for your partnership

as we “stand fast in one spirit, with one mind

striving together for the faith of the gospel”

(Philippians 1:27). May God richly bless you.

Sincerely,

Franklin Graham

The Festival also attracted more than 77,000

viewers from over 140 countries who watched

each night online through live webstreaming.

We continue to rejoice at the results.

God brought more than 1,700 people to faith in

His Son at the Festival. Online, 1,690

GEA takes Jesus Christ at His word when He says in Mark 16:15,

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

In response, our evangelistic events have spanned the globe with

one purpose—to share God’s love with people who need Christ. Franklin

Graham, his son Will, and our associate evangelists take the Gospel to

hundreds of thousands of people every year. Each event engages churches

across an entire region to reach into their communities and then to follow up

by discipling those who made life-changing commitments to Jesus Christ.

EVANGELISTIC EVENTS

One of the most impactful Billy Graham

Evangelistic Association events of 2014 was

the Greater Toronto Festival of Hope with

Franklin Graham.

Almost 40,000 people attended outreach events

Sept. 12–14 at Air Canada Centre. Each night, the

arena (home to the NHL’s Maple Leafs and NBA’s

Raptors) looked like a United Nations event.

Because of Toronto’s ethnic diversity,

Franklin Graham’s messages were translated

into six languages—Cantonese, Mandarin,

Spanish, Farsi, Arabic, and Russian. In addition,

trained local counselors were available in each

language to pray for those who jammed the

arena floor in response to invitations to repent of

these counselors here [to walk people through faith

commitments]. With Jesus, I can overcome anything.”

Even before the Festival outreach events began, over

1,400 people made faith commitments in response to

Gospel presentations at several training and community

outreach events held earlier in the year. We praise God

for every soul who has turned to Christ.

Other Franklin Graham Festivals took place in El Paso,

TX; Sapporo, Japan; Tbilisi, Georgia; Warsaw, Poland;

and Pittsburgh, PA. In total, more than 159,000

heard the Good News through these outreaches,

and almost 9,000 responded by publicly committing

their lives to Christ.

Meanwhile, from the outback of Australia to the remote

mountains of Papua New Guinea and the far corners of

Asia, Will Graham—the third generation of the Graham

family to proclaim the Gospel under the BGEA banner—

conducted numerous evangelistic events during 2014.

All told, more than 84,000 people attended Will’s

Celebrations, and more than 10,500 of them responded

by surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ.

Preparations are well underway for the 2015

Will Graham Celebration of Hope tour that will include

stops in Siksika First Nation, AB (Oct. 15); Whitehorse,

YT (Oct. 16–17); and Fort McMurray, AB (Nov. 14–15).

Training events have already happened in all three

communities, and there is great excitement about what

the Lord is doing there.

We praise God that more than 400 of those

calls resulted in people dedicating or

rededicating their lives to Christ. As of

May 31 this year, over 450 calls were received,

with almost 160 dedications or rededications.

BILLY GRAHAM LIBRARY

The 40,000-square-foot Billy Graham Library

in Charlotte, NC, has drawn more than 900,000

visitors from almost 90 countries since its 2007

opening. Offering free admission, the main facility

houses six historical multimedia exhibits, four

galleries of memorabilia and artifacts, and two

theaters—all on eight landscaped hectares.

There, guests encounter the Gospel throughout

their visit. Every aspect of the Library is designed

to proclaim God’s love and forgiveness, found

only through faith in Jesus Christ.

In 2014, the Library welcomed more than 144,300

visitors—approximately 4,300 more than the

previous year. It drew diverse audiences by

hosting numerous special events, including book

signings with Joni Eareckson Tada, recording

artist Ricky Skaggs, Duck Dynasty’s Phil and Kay

Robertson, and renowned Christian author

Max Lucado. Our most-attended event, Christmas

at the Library, drew more than 43,700 people.

Most visitors took The Journey of Faith tour, the

highlight of the Library experience. The tour

covers important events and developments in

Billy Graham’s remarkable life in service to the

Lord Jesus Christ.

RESPONSE CENTER & CHRISTIAN GUIDANCE

BGEA’s Christian Guidance and Response

ministry is a primary voice of the Billy Graham

Evangelistic Association, answering more than

226,900 phone calls, letters, and emails in 2014.

Our representatives responded to callers with the

love of Christ through words of encouragement,

prayer, spiritual guidance, and the latest

information on BGEA ministries—including

upcoming Festivals and Celebrations, the Search

for Jesus online evangelism outreach, and the

My Hope with Billy Graham video ministry.

Incoming spiritual calls were primarily from

viewers of Billy Graham Classics TV programs

and listeners to BGEA radio broadcasts.

During 2014, our representatives were privileged

to pray with more than 23,900 callers as a

personal, one-on-one ministry. We give thanks to

God that 602 of them indicated having repentant

hearts and will “obtain the salvation which is in

Christ Jesus with eternal glory” (2 Timothy 2:10).

DECISION MAGAZINE

During 2014, Decision magazine continued to

reflect its purpose as “The Evangelical Voice

of Today.” The award-winning monthly is

increasingly recognized as one of the foremost

publications calling Christians in Canada and

around the world to stand strong for Jesus Christ

and against the growing godlessness in the

culture around us.

In 2014, the Canadian edition of Decision had an

average circulation of 11,700 copies per issue.

Jaipur, a Hindu stronghold with a population of

more than three million.

An estimated 121,800 people heard the message

of salvation through Christ during the year at

Robert’s 12 Festivals of Peace. More than 8,340

people made life-changing commitments to

Christ, while many thousands more came forward

to seek additional information about becoming a

Christian and to request prayer.

Associate Evangelist David Ruiz preached “the

grace of God that brings salvation” (Titus 2:11)

during Festivals of Peace in Portoviejo, Ecuador;

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Mexico; and Toluca, Mexico.

More than 44,950 people attended these three

outreaches, with over 3,630 pledging their hearts

and lives to Jesus Christ.

TV TELEPHONE MINISTRY

For North Americans coming to faith in

Jesus Christ, BGEA’s TV Telephone Ministry

(TVTM) continues to be an important connection

point. TVTM provides spiritual support and

information to people who watch BGEA telecasts

and then call the toll-free number on their

TV screens.

In 2014, volunteers at call centers in Calgary

and Winnipeg responded to almost 1,600 calls

(45 percent more than in 2013).

y Hope is an

international initiative

that encourages and

equips local churches around the

world to proclaim the Gospel

of Jesus Christ. Each year, BGEA

produces short videos that

congregations and individuals use

to draw large numbers of friends,

family members, and neighbors to

hear the Gospel.

In 2014, My Hope took place for the second

consecutive year in Canada and the United

States and was initiated for the first time in

the United Kingdom.

As Easter approached, churches in North

America were encouraged to utilize the aptly

themed video The Cross, which had been

released the year before, reaching millions of

people with the Gospel.

Later in 2014, BGEA produced Heaven, a

30-minute program featuring Billy Graham

himself, plus new and powerful testimonies

of lives changed through faith in Jesus Christ.

Almost 18,000 Heaven DVDs were distributed

for free across Canada, after being paid for by

BGEA donors.

“The video was very well received,” reported

James Lim, senior pastor at Praise International

Church. His church hosted a special showing of

Heaven at two of its campuses in the

Vancouver region.

“We had an altar call at the end and invited

people to respond by raising their hands, and

we had about 10 in Vancouver and 20 in Surrey.

We were expecting a good response, but this

was amazing.”

More than 425 Canadian churches participated

in My Hope in 2014, and nearly 800 Canadians

dedicated or rededicated their lives to Christ

after watching Heaven. As of the end of May

2015, almost 500 churches are participating in

My Hope and more than 400 Canadians have

committed or recommitted their lives to Christ

through the ministry.

BGEA of Canada has also created a French

version of Heaven and is using it in 2015 to help

Quebec churches and Christians to reach out to

people who need Christ. A version with English

sub-titles is available on the BGEAC website.

If you or your church did not participate in My

Hope in 2014, you can take part this year. Even if

your congregation was part of the 2013 or 2014

outreaches, we encourage you to participate

again using the new materials. To view the videos,

INTERNET EVANGELISM

INTERNET I 2014–15 MINISTRY REPORT I 11

BillyGraham.ca

uring 2014, BGEA

continued to use every

media option available

to us to invite lost people around

the world to come to Jesus Christ

and find new life in Him. Through

the Internet and social media,

God expanded our reach to take

this one message to more than

235 countries and territories.

Our website, MyPeaceWithGod.ca, started in

2014 because today, millions of people take

life’s big questions to the Internet. Using search

engines, they ask things like: “Am I loved?”

“Is there a God?” “What’s my purpose?”

Through MyPeaceWithGod.ca, they are directed

to real hope with compelling, interactive Gospel

presentations that address their concerns.

Visitors are then invited to surrender their lives to

Christ and to indicate if they did so. If they click

to indicate they want to know more about Jesus

or have questions, they are connected to trained

Christian volunteers who can share the hope of

the Gospel through email.

We rejoice that in 2014, MyPeaceWithGod.ca

was visited more than 62,000 times, with almost

8,000 people telling us they had prayed the

prayer of salvation. 63,600 visits were already

recorded up to the end of May 2015.

SearchForJesus.ca, a companion website

designed for Christians and churches who want

to support MyPeaceWithGod.ca and become

trained volunteers, was viewed almost 500 times

in 2014 and nearly 280 times to the end of May

2015. Through this website, you can watch a 3-D

map that shows, in real time, people around the

world making decisions for Christ through BGEA.

Worldwide, BGEA’s PeaceWithGod.net ministry

connected with more than 6.8 million people, with

almost 210,000 giving us their contact information

so we could follow up with them.

Our main website—BillyGraham.ca—was visited

more than 120,000 times in 2014. Much of this was

due to the Greater Toronto Festival of Hope and

live streaming of the three nights of outreach.

The site was viewed almost 3,200 more times to

May 31, 2015. BillyGraham.ca includes information

on BGEA of Canada ministries and training

opportunities, articles from back issues of Decision

magazine, and My Hope video programs.

In addition, FestivalOfHope.ca was visited over

106,000 times in 2014. This was one of the main

avenues for us to connect with people in southern

Ontario who were interested in the Greater Toronto

Festival of Hope. Even now, people can visit the

website and find out how God changed lives in the

Greater Toronto Area.

MyHopeWithBillyGraham.ca (and its French

counterpart, MonEspoirAvecBillyGraham.ca) was

visited more than 15,000 times in 2014 and nearly

3,200 more times by May 31, 2015. The website

continues to offer churches and Christians valuable

resources to reach their communities with the

saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. These resources

include the videos Heaven, Lose To Gain, The Cross,

and Defining Moments. Some of them are also

available in French.

This year, CelebrationOfHope.ca is one of the most

important ways for people in Siksika First Nation,

AB; Whitehorse, YT; and Fort McMurray, AB, to get

information about BGEA of Canada’s Celebration

of Hope with Will Graham that is happening in their

communities. The site has been visited more than

2,700 times this year, up to May 31.

coming to Christ, growing

in Him, and sharing their faith

with their friends. BGEA remains

committed to seeing this happen

we saw continued growth with

our discipleship and evangelism

training programs.

DARE TO BE A DANIEL

Dare to Be a Daniel (D2BD) is an evangelism

training course that equips children ages 9–14

with the life skills, tools, and confidence to share

Christ with their friends and peers.

It’s available in 5-lesson and 13-lesson kits, which

are ideal for Sunday school, vacation Bible

schools, Christian summer camps, and other

group applications.

“At our church, we always wanted something

for our tweens; then I read about Dare to Be a

Daniel and told my pastor about it,” said Janet

Breitkreutz, who’s in charge of small group

coaches at her Edmonton church. “We’re trying

to keep kids in church, and D2BD is helping. They

really like it—they even ask for it. It’s very good

about helping kids to not cave in to

peer pressure.”

Generous Canadian donors have enabled BGEA

of Canada to give away a limited number of

these kits to churches that are committed to

raising the next generation of evangelists. Kits

can also be purchased by calling 1-800-293-3717.

In addition, Dare to Be a Daniel is available at

LeDefiDeDaniel.ca for French-speaking churches

and individuals.

THE GREATEST JOURNEY

In 2014, BGEA launched The Greatest Journey in

Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom,

and Australia. This 12-session Bible study was

created to help children ages 6–10 become

faithful followers of Jesus and is designed for

home use, Sunday school, or children’s outreach

in developed nations.

The Greatest Journey was adapted from the

Samaritan’s Purse curriculum of the same

name, which God has used in conjunction

with Operation

Christmas Child to

bring more than

one million children

to faith in His Son in

over 100 countries.

Thanks to donations

from Canadians like you, a limited

number of The Greatest Journey kits have

been given to interested churches. Available in

a variety of forms, kits can also be purchased.

CHRISTIAN LIFE AND WITNESS & FM419 CLASSES

At the Greater Toronto Festival of Hope, more

than 1,350 students and youth leaders attended

two youth training weekends. We rejoice that

92 first-time decisions for Christ were made,

along with 338 rededications.

Over 3,200 people of all ages attended Christian

Life and Witness Course (CLWC) trainings at

almost 30 locations. At these classes, God

brought more than 180 people to faith in His

Son, with over 570 renewing their commitments

to Christ.

CLWC helps Christians grasp key biblical

principles that form a solid foundation for their

faith. Through this, instructors show how to

build a victorious Christian life and share that life

with others.

In 2015, CLWC is part of the Celebration of

Hope with Will Graham, taking place in Siksika

First Nation, AB; Whitehorse, YT; and Fort

McMurray, AB. As of May 31 this year, 11 churches

and more than 250 people had participated in

CLWC training in Whitehorse. CLWC training has

also happened in Siksika and is scheduled for

October in Fort McMurray.

FM419, the youth version of CLWC, took place in

May 2015 in Whitehorse. More than 100 people

from at least six churches participated, with 11

making decisions for Christ or rededications to

Him. FM419 in Fort McMurray is to occur later

this year.

RECONNEXION

REconneXion is a practical and inspirational

BGEA of Canada one-day seminar that

provides the tools to increase the influence

pastors and church leaders can achieve in

their communities. Nine seminars, attended

by more than 250 people, have been held

across Canada in 2014 and so far in 2015.

More seminars are being organized for

autumn 2015.

MY HOPE

Training Christians to be “Matthews” and

share their faith in Christ through special

video viewing events is a key part of My

Hope with Billy Graham. We rejoice that

in 2014, almost 2,000 people attended

My Hope training events across Canada,

with almost 780 making dedications or

rededications to Christ.

BILLY GRAHAM TRAINING CENTER AT THE COVE

For more than 25 years, the Billy Graham

Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, NC,

has encouraged and refreshed believers and

empowered them to influence their world

for the glory of God.

In 2014, more than 30,100 Cove attendees

participated in a total of 308 Seminar,

Guest Group, and Personal Spiritual Retreat

events. We praise God that more than

4,100 people made commitments to major

life changes in areas including their family,

career, ministry, and most importantly,

their relationship with Jesus Christ. This was

a 5.5-percent increase over 2013.

Young people learn how to deepen their walk with Christ and

CRISIS MINISTRY

During 2014, BGEA responded to ice storms,

mudslides, tornadoes, floods, shootings, and civil

unrest with 342 RRT chaplain deployments to 17

disaster sites.

Our chaplains assisted more than 43,000

victims by year’s end and prayed with over

10,000 individuals. We are grateful to God and

give Him all the glory for the thousands of

people comforted in Jesus’ Name, and for the

415 people who responded to the hope of the

Gospel with “repentance toward God and faith

[in] our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21).

In Canada, almost 90 volunteer RRT chaplains

responded to natural disasters and crisis

situations in four provinces.

Eight chaplains prayed with victims of spring

flooding in Sussex Corner, NB, and Belleville, ON.

In April, following the stabbing deaths of five

University of Calgary students, almost 20 RRT

chaplains spent eight days comforting students,

staff, and first-responders with the love of Christ.

This was the first time chaplains responded on

their own, rather than as part of a Samaritan’s

Purse disaster response. Chaplains also

supported Calgarians who visited an informal

memorial at the crime scene and who attended

the victims’ funerals and prayer services.

In June, five chaplains went to Moncton, NB,

to comfort and pray with residents and first-

responders after five Royal Canadian Mounted

Police officers were shot, three of them fatally.

In July and August, eight chaplains went to

Melville, SK, and Burlington, ON, after flooding

damaged many homes.

“Many times, we’re the first time that they let

the tears fall,” said chaplain Janet Voth, who was

deployed in Melville. “Victims often feel that they

have to stay strong for the people around them.

It feels like we give them permission to grieve, to

feel the pain.”

A total of 40 chaplains were also deployed

at Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas

Child shoebox processing centers in Calgary,

Toronto, and Kitchener, ON. Over three weeks

in November and December, they prayed with

more than 230 volunteers and staff members.

Chaplains will be assigned to the processing

centers again in late 2015.

An RRT chaplain listens to residents in

Pilger, Nebraska, where twin EF-4 tornadoes

demolished the small town’s business district.

When RRT’s chaplains quickly deployed to Ferguson,

Missouri, the Rapid Response Team mobile command

truck—used as a ministry center—was stationed daily in a

parking lot on the street where the rioting had occurred.

n a world where disaster

is certain, the Billy Graham

Rapid Response Team

(RRT) responds in two ways:

by training a force of believers

to respond with spiritual

and emotional care, and by

deploying volunteer chaplains

anywhere in the world to

offer God’s hope to victims

and first-responders.

The Bible to be the infallible Word of God, that

it is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is of

supreme and final authority

In one God, eternally existing in three persons—

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ was conceived by the

Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary

He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins,

died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand

of the Father as our mediator and advocate

That all men everywhere are lost and face the

judgment of God, and need to come to a saving

knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood

on the cross

That Christ rose from the dead and is coming soon

In holy Christian living, and that we must have

concern for the hurts and social needs of our

fellowmen

We must dedicate ourselves anew to the service of

our Lord and to His authority over our lives

In using every modern means of communication

available to us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ

throughout the world
