HEAVY DUTY CHANNEL BLINDSBozzy’s most popular product in the outdoor blind range, it is a stylish and strong system and is most commonly used in patios and alfresco areas of your home or business.

This blind can be operated by either a Manual crank system with detachable handle or motorised using a Somfy handheld or wall mounted remote.

Guided by a 75mm x 3mm Gauge Aluminium Channel and secured using our very own reinforced aluminium bottom rail and pin locking system. The channels are a custom Bozzy design allowing you to have multiple settings and maximum tension at all times. Spanning up to a maximum of 5.8m the HD blind is still our most reliable design.

Recommended to compliment the HD Channel blind is our extensive range of HVG Mesh Extra, Ultra and Ferrari Soltis fabrics.

CRANK & CLIP/STRAP BLINDSBozzy’s most versatile blind. Our go to blind for the more challenging install situations because of the simple yet functional design.

This blind is most commonly operated by a Manual crank system with detachable handle however it can also be motorised using a Somfy handheld or wall mounted remote where it is difficult to use the manual system.

Fixing points can be along the ground using stainless steel floor plates and straps or easy to use swivel clips on either side of the blind. This blind can also double as a “Roof to Fence” blind.

For example the blind could be fixed to your roofline and extend across to a boundary fence or wall providing shade and protection for plants, washing lines or a children’s play area.

SLIDE TRACK & ZIP TRACK BLINDSIf you are looking for an easy to use solution to enclose a patio or Al Fresco area our extensive range of Spring Loaded Blinds may be what you are looking for.

Slidetrack and Ziptrack Blinds are operated on a spring system with unique bottom locking rail mechanisms. The edge of the fabric is lined with a Keder spline that runs into a 2 part track.

This blind works especially well at lengths under 4m and is very popular with people who want a quick operation and maximum protection from the rain and bugs. They can also be mounted on the outside of your posts or walls for a more invisible and stylish appearance.

These blinds also work particularly well with the Clear and Tinted PVC, as they do not cause too much stress on this type of material.

EXTERNAL WINDOW BLINDSExternal window blinds are a classic way to create shade and privacy around your windows.

One of the most popular choices is the classic style lock arm awning. This spring operated outdoor blind is fitted above the window with stainless steel rods and adjustable guides fitted down each side. A pelmet is usually fitted to protect the blind when retracted.

A modern alternative is the Archline awning which can be custom fitted to large windows as it works on a heavy duty pivot arm system operating on a 180 degree arch. This means it can be operated with either a crank or motorised system.

The blinds provide shade in the summer that makes a huge difference to the temperature of the outdoor area, whilst in winter we’re able to retract the ‘ceiling’ to maximise the amount of light entering the house.

WIRE GUIDE BLINDSA modern streamlined design used mostly as an external window shade but also an excellent option for balconies and where a channel is not desirable.

The Wire guided blind is most commonly operated with the Somfy remote system however it can still be used manually with a crank handle.

Guided by Stainless steel wires on either side of the bottom rail the blind can be set any desired level with no need to secure. However we do supply stainless steel clips if required.

Wire Guide blinds are great to keep the sun off the glass and dramatically reduce heat from your windows and house. They can be connected to sun sensors - so while you are at work they can be working at home to keep the heat out and reduce energy costs!

ROOF TO FENCE BLINDSRoof to fence blinds are the ideal solution when you want shelter from the sun without losing space.

They also provide great protection for your family, pets and plants from the sun’s harmful rays. We also offer water resistant solutions for furniture or maybe even your spa.

Roof to fence blinds are simply a modified version of the crank and clip blinds. They can be fitted out on an angle from your fascia, patio or wall of your house. A small strap is usually fitted to the bottom rail instead of a clip with a stainless saddle fitted to a strong fence or wall. We recommend keeping the span out to a fence or wall to no more than 2m.

Being fully retractable means you can benefit from the shade roof to fence blinds provide in summer, and in the cooler months when they are not required, simply roll them up. We also offer a more cost effective version of roof to fence blinds using an annex track and strap.

Folding Arm Awnings are a tried and tested solution for residential and commercial projects where a fixed structure or shade sail is not desired. They provide excellent shade and heat protection with the push of a button or the ease of a top winder for extending in and out.

At Bozzy we have several styles in our range of window awnings, from a basic open style, to semi cassette and fully enclosed styles depending on the look and design you are after. All window awnings are custom made up to 7.5m in width and 3.6m in projection. They can be wall mounted, fascia mounted or even roof mounted using special custom roof brackets.

All our folding arm awnings are fully powder-coated and come with a huge range of stylish fabrics including breathable PVC and water resistant acrylics and polyesters. For awnings over 5m in width and 3m in projection we do recommend using the Somfy motor and remote systems for easier operation. This also allows for the option of adding wind and rain sensors.

… A fully Retractable OzTech Roof system. When the roof is in place it is 100% water tight with its own gutter system. It can handle strong winds and is in fact so tight and strong you can walk on it! At any time you have the choice of closing up your roof or retracting it back to allow the sun to come in – you have the best of both worlds.

Whether it’s a retractable pergola for your backyard, courtyard or deck that you’re looking for, or a custom made roof system to meet the needs of a restaurant, bar or commercial project, there is a Oztech model to suit your needs and style.

Utilising European technology through a custom direct drive motor system to ensure smooth and quick operation coupled with high grade extruded aluminium profiles, stainless steel components and a second to none running system is why Oztech is at the forefront in the Australian market. They are the ONLY retractable roof system on the market with a 117kmh rating.

The heart of the system is driven by multiple Oztech F3 eight wheel slider carriages. Each F3 slider carriage has a load limit of 600 kg that incorporates a triple layer barrier system. This works in conjunction with a timing belt that has been reinforced with multiple internal stainless steel cables to provide a pulling strength of over 966 kg. It’s this tension that is applied to the fabric membrane to allow an angle of 6 degrees fall possible and ensure all water drains away.

CASE STUDY 1Owners of The Reveley Bar, Elizabeth Quay, with it’s rooftop bar and alfresco dining options, wanted to ensure that the outdoor areas could be comfortably enjoyed by their customers during any weather conditions and at any time of the day.

The solution came in the form of the Tera retractable roof system with front gutters and LED lighting, motorised slide-tracks with PVC clear materials and a customised canopy that featuring a custom frame and fabric shells.

This one-of-a-kind project took around two weeks to complete and we are proud to say that the owners are incredibly happy with the end results and how well the colours, lighting and the finishes enhance their rooftop bar.

CASE STUDY 2The Universal Bar, Northbridge, had an open-air bar area that was being under utilised, particularly during the winter months. They also wanted to be able to hold more functions, all year round. Bozzy Shade Blinds met with the Bar Manager and decided the Tera Retractable Roof System was the perfect solution for the space. It is fully waterproof and guttered and the The Universal have been extremely impressed with the transformation of the space since having it installed.

FABRICS & COLOURSFinding the right material to incorporate with your outdoor shade and weather solution is extremely important. Reducing glare, protecting from Harmful UV rays, wind and rain reduction and of course privacy are generally the main points to consider when looking at different materials.

Both of our mesh options are a unique 2x2 tight weave, PVC coated, polyester woven shade mesh and appropriate for use over the entire range of Bozzy outdoor applications - domestic and commercial.
