WINE HOST BIO Rick Bonitati, President & Chief Executive Officer of St. Francis Winery & Vineyards Rick Bonitati joined St. Francis Winery & Vineyards as President & Chief Executive Officer in January 2018. With over 30 years of experience in the fine wine business and a focus primarily on Sonoma County wines, Rick’s passion for premium wines from the region is a perfect addition to St. Francis’ leadership team.

After graduating from University of Miami in FL in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Merchandising, Rick visited Northern California for the first time. During his journey, he spent a week in the Sonoma wine country and fell in love with the region. It was on that trip he set a goal to be part of the local wine community. Fast forward three decades, Rick is an accomplished leader and educator whose career quickly ascended in sales and later in winery production and management for several nationally recognized wineries.

As a resident and member of the Sonoma County wine community for over 20 years, Rick appreciates the diversity of the appellations and heritage of expert farming and winemaking that makes this region so unique.
