Students will spend five days working in the virtual underwater laboratories conducting both environmental and ecological impacts affecting Lake Ontario. This program is being made available to students that are entering the 7th-9th grade. The program runs Monday through Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm. The fee is $285 per session. Make checks payable to Monroe #1 BOCES BUBL Project.

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the Rochester Museum and Science Center, 657 East Avenue, Rochester, New York.

Time will be spent working within the BUBL labs completing environmental exploration and testing.

We will spend an entire day at the PowderMill Park Fish Hatchery working within the fish runs and ponds. **Parent Transportation Required**

New technologies and activities such as Podcasts, Blogs, Webpage Development and Geo-Caching.

We will dedicate an afternoon to the work done by James Cameron and his investigation of the Titanic.

Soda bottle rockets, maglev cars, t-shirt design, Knex and Geo-Cache scavenger hunts.Discover Scuba - Try scuba diving with your teammates. **Parent Transportation Required**Lake Ontario is the smallest of the Great Lakes.

Lake Sturgeon can reach lengths exceeding 7ft. in length yet they have no teeth and are completely harmless.

There are over 275 shipwrecks on the bottom of the Great Lakes. Many of these ships have not yet been found or explored.

Sections of Lake Ontario exceed 802 ft. deep.
