Phase-out SIMATIC HMI panels All new Panels are engineered only with WinCC TIA Portal

All current HMI-devices can be engineered with WinCC TIA Portal.

Some migration barriers for STEP 7 TIA Portal do exist. If customer stays with STEP 7 V5.5, a Tag converter is offered to allow synchronization of tags in the project.

Very little migration barriers to WinCC TIA Portal: SIMOTION channel will be supported with WinCC V12.5 and SIMOTION V4.4

-> For details see slidesonly minor topics such as Change Control, ProAgent, Rewiring and Dictionaries remain as an open issue

Comfort Panels as well as Basic, Key and Mobile Panels are designed for all current PLCs and therefore perfectly interact with S7-300, S7-400, WinAC and S7-1200. In the future also S7-1500 will be supported.

The great majority of customers can already migrate to WinCC TIA Portal.Comfort Panels may be used in combination with all current PLCs.
