Marriage: Contact Father Paul 6 months in advance of the planned wedding date. Anointing of the sick: If you or a family member are admitted to a hospital or other care facility and you wish to have a priest visit, please be sure to have someone call the parish office to make this request.

Ordination to the Diaconate On Saturday, July 28th at 10:30 am. at the Cathedral, we will celebrate the Ordi-nation to the Permanent Diaconate of four candidates. With their wives, these four candidates, Philip Yuson (Marie), Michael Watkins (Cynthia), John Dawson (Heather) and Dion Pomponio (Kerry) have spent the past 4 ½ years in prayerful discernment, study and ministerial apprenticeship preparing for this moment when they will offer their lives in service to the diocesan Church of Victoria. All are welcome to attend and a reception will follow at St. Patrick’s Church Hall in Oak Bay.

THE SISTERS OF SAINT ANN (www.ssabc.ca; www.ssacong.org) are looking for EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the corporation of the Sisters of Saint Ann, including oversight of the Health Care Team which addresses the well-being of the Sisters. The ED will work closely with the Board and the local and congregational canonical leaders to support the well-being of the Sisters and further their mission. PAD Donations. If you are interested in making your donations to our Parish through a Pre-Authorized Debit Program, please take an envelope with all the information needed. These envelopes are on the table at the entrance of the Church.
Our New Church-Making Your Donation Really Counts. Once we are clear as to how much money we will need to raise to make our new church a reality, our fund raising will begin. Please think about the information below. Similar to how the Canadian and BC governments help us to increase our regular giving, they will again partner with you to help provide these funds. Here’s how: $100 donation - your cost will be $56; $500 donation - your cost will be $280; $1,000 donation - your cost will be $ 560.00.
