6:00 p.m. Buffet Dinner with Keynote Speaker: Gretchen Hudock from Wisconsin, learned to sew when 10 years old. An introductory course in Textiles while at the University of Wisconsin intrigued her to major in the field. While watching public television, she was introduced to quilting. She began designing Christmas tree skirts; one thing led to another and Christmas quilts became her specialty. She has had many designs published nationally and often a guest on public television's “Sewing with Nancy”. In 1995 she began working as the Quilting Consultant at Nancy’s Notions later taking over the merchandising. Her first book, Quick Quilts Using Quick Bias was released in 2002 followed by Seasonal Quilts Using Quick Bias. After nearly 18 years at Nancy’s Notions, she moved from quilting to organizing spaces. Leaving Nancy’s Notions in 2012 she and her husband Rich moved to Georgia. Gretchen’s favorite phrase is, "I have truly been blessed to be able to do what I love to do as a job. It is wonderful to look forward to each work day."

Volunteer who loves to teach sewing and enjoys quilting, designing and creating clothing.
Debbie Stidham from Burlington, Kentucky learned to sew at age 5 on her great granny’s treadle sewing
machine. In college, she earned extra money hemming skirts, making prom and wedding dresses. Debbie is a
retired high school math teacher.
Angie York from Eddyville, Kentucky is the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent for Lyon County
