Terra was the first company to manufacture Market Umbrellas in the United States. Our commercial grade Market Umbrellas made of solid oak, teak, and extruded aluminum continue to be the umbrella of choice to many of the top hotels, resorts, restaurants, and homes worldwide.

We spend extra time in the finishing stages to ensure that Terra Umbrellas are of the finest quality in the industry. Our solid oak and teak umbrella frames and poles are sanded by hand, sharp corners are rounded, and the wood is beautifully finished with a weather resistant polyurethane finish before the umbrella frame is assembled.

When a project calls for colorful poles and struts to compliment the surroundings we feature our all aluminum tubular and cast frames. Durable powder coat finishes are available for the aluminum umbrellas and bases allowing easy color coordination.

The covers are made with Sunbrella® acrylic furniture or awning fabrics, or Firesist® flame-retardant fabric. Firesist® satisfies most fire codes and commercial applications such as restaurants, shopping centers, and hotel lobbies. You may also supply us with your own cover fabric to meet your design specifications. A wind vent comes with most umbrellas to ensure stability on those breezy summer days.

With so many options, every Terra umbrella can be a unique work of art. Your choices are unlimited with our wide spectrum of colors and fabrics. Special effects can be created with strip lighting, for both commercial and residential uses and we offer silk-screened names and logos on most fabrics.

Pole MaterialsTerra features a choice of 1½”, 2” or 2½” diameter poles from solid oak or teak with a weather-resistant finish. The 1½” aluminum poles are powder-coated.

HardwareNon-corrosive stainless and brass hardware connect the struts to the ribs for easy repair for maintenance needs.

HubsOur hubs are made from solid oak or teak with a weather-resistant finish or with powder-coated cast aluminum.

Brass Chain and PinLong-lasting brass chain and pin are used to adjust the height and fabric tension of the umbrella.

Pulley SystemThe easy-open pulley system is an option that simplifies opening and closing. Crafted of leather with brass and stainless steel pulleys and a polyester cord, this durable mechanism can be factory-installed or added at a later date.

Decorative FinialSculptured solid hardwood with a weather-resistant polyurethane finish provides a pleasing accent to top off the umbrella. The cast aluminum finial can be powder-coated to match the frame color of the aluminum pole.

Silk-ScreeningAll of Terra umbrellas can be silk-screened with your logo or text on any Sunbrella® color fabric. We do not have a minimum order for printing, so if you need only one panel printed on one umbrella, we can help!
