jobs to two existing locations in Williamson County.
The operation and call center jobs will be spread out
between offices at Duke Drive and Corporate Centre
Drive, according to Matt Largen, head of economic

currently employs 500 people in Williamson County,
and is expected to grow to 650 by year's end.

yesterday that they have selected Clarksville as the
site for their sixth North American driver assistance
call and data response center.
Agero's decision comes after a 16-month search for
a new contact center, which included a thorough
evaluation of more than 20 qualified locations. The
53,000-square-foot, $8.2 million call center will
eventually create 500 jobs for Clarksville-

said it is creating more than 70 new jobs here after
acquiring 54 clinics nationwide from the largest
player in its industry. DSI Renal is now the nation’s
fourth largest for-profit provider of outpatient dialysis
after buying the clinics that dialysis giant Fresenius
Medical Care. The acquisition takes DSI Renal from
having clinics mostly in the South and Southwest to
a national player with 85 dialysis centers and home
and acute care programs in 23 states that provide

General Motors will invest a total of $244 million and
create nearly 1,900 jobs as it reboots the idle Spring
Hill plant into an ultra-flexible operation, the
company announced Monday. The initial $61 million
investment will create 685 jobs, announced Cathy
Clegg, vice president of GM Labor Relations to a
crowd at the plant. The first vehicle to roll of the line
will be the Chevrolet Equinox, the hot-selling mid-
size crossover SUV. The second phase of
investment will be for production of 2015 model mid-
size vehicles. Officials declined to identify those
vehicles.

10.5 acres and was built in 1989. It features 19
loading docks with 15 elevators, two drive-in doors,
and a 24-foot clear height. The power is 3-phase
with 1200 amps and 480 volts.
