Subject: RE: Water Source for Caltrans Project in Stockton (EA 10-1F8601)

Good afternoon,

Please be advised Cal Water does have facilities in the area. If the contractor wants to rent a hydrant

meter that can be done. However, the water pulled from the hydrant has to be utilized in our Service Area

only.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks,

Stacie

Subject: Water Source for Caltrans Project in Stockton (EA 10-1F8601)

Good afternoon Stacie,

My name is Jose Alicea and I am working for Caltrans District 10 in Stockton. In the effort of conserving

water in the State, we have been directed to provide each of our projects a non-potable and/or potable

water source for the contractor to be used during construction. We have a fence project in San Joaquin

County in Stockton on Route 4 at the Mormon Slough Bridge and W4-N5 Connector.

10-SJ-4-PM R16.2

The purpose for this project is to install to install approximately 7400 feet of wrought iron fence and

thirteen access gates at the area under Mormon Slough Bridge (Bridge No 29-0238), at Lincoln Street,

and alongside the West State Route (SR) 4 to North Interstate (I)-5 Connector (on ramp) (Bridge No 29-

0236) in downtown Stockton.

Can you please let me know if CalWater has either non-potable and potable water available for the

construction in Spring/Summer 2017?

Thank you so much for your time and please contact me if you have any questions.
