Parish Events

Announcing Amazing Opportunities for the men and women of our parish to

inform, enhance, and enliven their faith life and build a relationship with Christ and his Church.

Under the umbrella of Spiritual Development for Men and Women, here are just a few of the offerings in our 2019-2020 line-up that may provide just the needed spark to begin a personal faith journey or the nourishment to continue on your journey of a lifetime!

***BE AMAZED as the Old and New Testaments are unpacked to reveal the richness of our Salvation History through a 24 week study of the BIBLE TIMELINE which is offered from September 19 through March 19 on Thursdays. A morning and evening option is available.

***DISCOVER the background, depth, and relevance of the Liturgy of the Word at Sunday Mass through a weekly discussion of the readings for the upcoming Sunday’s Mass. There is nothing to purchase and come when you can. This is an opportunity to unpack the readings with fellow parishioners, and with online commentary by scripture scholar Brant Pitre. SUNDAY SCRIPTURE STUDY will be held on Wednesdays from September 18th through May 20th.

***IMAGINE an evening one Wednesday a month when Catholic women accompany one another in reading classics, great books and timeless spiritual works from Western and Christian traditions in order to nurture their hearts and moral imagination. This can happen when participating in WELL READ MOMS. (For all women, not just Moms). Weekly attendance is not required.

***ENCOUNTER ROMANS: THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION which has been at the center of controversy, conversion, and reflection since the day it was written. This 8 session study explains the Catholic teaching on salvation, what is required--faith or works, and highlights connections Paul makes with Jesus and the Old Testament. Offered on consecutive Tuesday mornings from October 22nd through December 10th.

See the table in the Gathering Space for registrations forms, information for each of the study groups or call the office at 507 288 5528 to register or if you have questions.
