WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT THE GATHERING, Join us at 6:30PM as Pastor Blank covers some of the Psalms during the Gathering service. “Worship....after 2,000 years, we still haven’t worked out the kinks. We still struggle for the right words in prayer. We still fumble over Scripture. We don’t know when to kneel. We don’t know when to stand. We struggle with knowing HOW to pray. For that reason, God gave us the Psalms. Some are defiant. Others are reverent. Some are to be sung. Others are to be prayed. Some are intensely personal. Others are written as if the whole world would use them. Some were penned in caves and others in temples. But all have one purpose - to give us the words to say when we stand before God. Come & discover the Psalms!”

THRIVE: Our next THRIVE service - celebrating life through baptism, church membership & baby dedication - will be Sunday, February 23 at 5PM. If you are interested in any of these important milestones, please contact Becky Pritts at the church office, 771-3571.

The Jubilee Cafe...We will have about 20 college students and young adults attending the Jubilee Conference in February. We need to raise about $200 per participant to help them cover the expenses of the conference, lodging, travel, and food. For the next few Sundays, we will be serving specialty coffee drinks in the Atrium for a suggested donation. Please stop by the cafe if you’d like to support this investment in the spiritual lives of our 18/29ers.

18/29 Connect Groups...In February, we will launch one or two new mid-week connect groups for our college students and twenty-somethings. If you are interested or know a young adult who might be interested, please fill out a connect card today and let us know.

A message from“Jesus is CoolMinistries”

and Paul Powell

“’Jesus is Cool Ministries’ needs your help again! Since “the Guy in the Sky” first gave me the sweetest job I ever had, we have passed out over 5,000 Bibles! And from October 29, 2012

through October 30, 2013, Jesus & I have given out 1,351 Bibles! We’re rockin’ man! Since my cancer treatments, I have had more blessings than ever before. This shows me that when

“The Main Man” tells you to do something, you do whatever it is...right now! And He will putyou on the best high in the world! “

If you would like to donate to this ministry to help purchase more Bibles for distribution, please contact Paul Powell at (513) 754-2296.
