Bharati Vidyapeeth initiated its academic journey

with a single school. Now it is one of the premier

including 80 colleges of 12 faculties. They include

colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering,

Pharmacy, Hotel Management and the like. There

Bharati Vidyapeeth University has established its

given 'A' grade status to this University. The

ADMISSION DETAILS

Institutional Quota: - 20% of the total sanctioned seats is reserved for institutional quota seats (i.e. 24 seats). 5

percent of the institutional quota seats may be filled from Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates (i.e. 6 seats). Fifteen

percent seats (i.e. 18 seats) are reserved for Indian students. For institutional quota seats application shall be made

in the prescribed format to the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune on or before 16th September 2017.

The students will be admitted in the order of merit obtained in the entrance examination. In case of vacancies in both

the categories the seats shall be filled as per the rules of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune

Eligibility for admission after qualifying LL.B Entrance Test:

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission - As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal

Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 examination in any of the faculties of any recognized

University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than 45% of the total

marks in case of general category and more than 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.

Syllabus for LL.B Entrance Test 2017:

§ LL.B. Entrance Test - 2017 will be of 100 marks.

§ The question paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions.

§ There is no negative marking.

§ There will be 25 questions on each of the following sections in the paper -

a) English Grammar, Usage & Comprehension b) Legal aptitude, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning c) Current

Legal News & General Knowledge d) Social Sciences with an emphasis on Indian Constitution & Political System in

India.

Refund of Fees

Rules regarding cancellation of admission and refund of fees will be as per UGC norms, kindly refer the

a) A candidate desirous of taking admission for the BBA LLB 5 Year Course is required to submit prescribed online application form along with online form fee of

Rs.1200/- (fee is non refundable)

The candidates should strictly follow the instructions while filling up the application form online, and must read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form.

e) An incomplete application form or an application form which is not accompanied by necessary payment, will not be entertained and processed.

f) The University will not be responsible for any delay or loss of application / admission card/counselling letter/any communication in transit. Such delay will not be condoned.

Before filling up the application form online, applicants shall download the brochure available online, read the instructions and all other requirements.

How To Apply :

A applicant has to visit www.bvuniversity.edu.in and click on the link ‘application for admission to BBA LLB 5 Year course

The applicant will be redirected to a page for registration.

The applicant has to click on “New Applicants Click Here” tab for registration and enter details.

The applicant should then click on the login tab using the login Id/e-mail address and password.

(Please remember to save the login credential with you for future reference till the admission process is complete)

The applicant should then fill up all details in the online application form.

It is compulsory for the applicant to upload scanned image of

a) Applicant Photograph b) Applicant Signature

The applicant should verify the details filled in the online application form and click on

“submit” tab.

The applicant should click on “Payments” tab and proceed for payment so as to complete application process. The payment can be made through credit card/debit card/Internet banking.

The applicant should print the copy of application form and payment receipt for future reference till the admission process is complete.

Other Guidelines

1) Applicants are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection / inability / failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet / website jam. Competent Authority takes no responsibility for applicants not being able to submit their applications online within the last date on account of aforsaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the competent Authority.

2) Any information submitted by an applicant in his / her application shall be binding on the applicant personally and he /she shall be liable for prosecution / civil consequences in case the information / details furnished by him / her are found to be false at a later stage.

3) Competent Authority shall not be responsible for any application made / wrong information provided by an unauthorized person / institution. Applicants are advised not to share / mention their application details with / to anyone.

ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENTS

Admission of the candidate will be confirmed only if he / she produces the following documents in original and two photocopies of the same -

• Statement of marks of Board examination

• Passing Certificate

• Transfer Certificate from the Institution studied last.

• Migration Certificate from the University.

• Gap Certificate (If any Gap in learning).

• Four recent passport-size photographs with name written on the backside.

Interpretation & Decision Making Authority

• Differences of opinion & disputes arising in the interpretation and implementation of Clauses in this brochure, if any, will be referred to the Vice-Chancellor of this University and his decision in this regard will be final.

Court Jurisdiction

• Any Legal matter arising out of the admission procedure of the Law Course, through LL.B. Entrance Test 2017 of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune - 30, will be under the jurisdiction of Court at Pune only.

• The admission process is subject to final decision of Govt. of India, Honourable Courts and respective Councils.

Ragging

• Ragging in any form is prohibited and is an offence governed by Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999 and UGC Regulations 2009

• Ragging within or outside educational institution is prohibited and is an offence.

• Punishment for ragging is Imprisonment up to 2 years & / or fine up to Rs. 10,000/-. Student convicted of offence of Ragging shall be dismissed from the college and will not be eligible for admission in any other educational institution for a period of 5 years.
