The Stomacare Support Belts are used primarily for post-operative support of the abdominal wall and to prevent prolapse formation during, for example, physical activities (playing sports, gardening, etc.). The Stomacare Support Belts are made of elastics garments and fitted whiteh ribs that guarantee a good, wrinkle-free fit. Various models are available to meet individual needs.

Whiteh the standard semi-manufactured support belts, the individual positioning and sizing of the stoma aperture is made possible. An additional finishing set is supplied whiteh the belt. Positioning and finishing of the belt is to be done by a professional. The belts are available in different heights.

Provide extra comfort while changing the stoma pouch

The „Stomacare EasyOpener“ models whiteh a special integrated closure underneath the stoma opening provide extra comfort while changing the stoma pouch. The belt does not need to be removed. The „EasyOpener“ models all come in a 15 cm height whiteh an integrated stoma aperture. The diameter dimension of the aperture is determined by the outer ring size of the system. Note: these models are not suitable for patients whiteh a very high internal abdominal pressure, based on the possible load on the stoma aperture closure. In that case, a standard model is to be advised.

The Irrigation Models

A fine alternative

The Stomacare Irrigation Models are ready-made models support belt but whitehout a stoma aperture and therefore particularly suitable for those stoma wearers who use an irrigation-system. The height of this model is 10 cm and 15 cm.

Stomacare Protector

Stomacare BellyBag

The Protector offers additional protection against pressure and unwanted forces onto the stomasite, e.g. during sports activities. It can also prevent pressure caused by the the seatbelt when driving. The Stomacare Protector is made from plastic and constitutes a comfortable accessory that can be easily attached to any Stomacare Support Belt model.

The Bellybag provides additional support to the pouch and provides more comfort, especially during physical activities. The BellyBag is easy to attach to all Stomacare models by Velcro.

Cleaning instructionsStomacare Support Belts are recommended to be washed in hand warm water whiteh a fine soap. Prior to laundering close all Velcro® closures.
