Why do you think Football has become so popular around the world? (Describe 3 reasons and explain in detail why

you think they were important).

I think football has become such a popular sport because it’s easy to get the hang of, you can play anywhere, and you don’t need many people to play. Football isn’t a game that you need to be good to one thing in order to be good at it, if your good at running you can be good at it, good and long shots, short shots, defending, and many others. The rules are also very simple and easy to remember. You can also play football just about anywhere. Unlike many sports you don’t need a net or a hoop, yes having a goal would be useful but you can easily mark a goal with 2 water bottles or trees, anything.

More of the answer…

. You can also play with anyone, you don’t need a whole team in order to play, you can play with just 2 people and a ball, but you can also play with more. Whether you have the correct amount of attacks and defenders and midfielders and a goalie doesn’t matter you can run forward and back easily by yourself. Being able to easily play a game on your own will of course make people want to play and practice often, which is what most likely causes football to be so popular

Do you think there are different ways of playing, or styles, of Football in different areas around the world? Explain your answer using Football

terms.

I think that different places probably play football differently to others, but they will most likely be fairly similar. People my have different terms for different positions, and different areas that mark the field. People may not even have goalies when they play and just defenders. Anything can really be changed, but then there are also probably people who play the same because they follow every rule. People who play for national teams probably all play the same or very very similar.
