Vitamin A Deficiency
• Healthy eyesight and mucous membranes
• Deficiency:– Drying of membranes– Increase in infections– Also poor night vision– Eventual blindness

• Normally release energy and nerve function
• Deficiency:– Mouth sores– Degeneration of nerve cells– Anaemia – needed for red blood cells
