Audit report basics
• Audit report is a written record of the audit,
prepared by the auditor
• The FSSC report, shall provide confidence that
the certified organization demonstrably complies
with all Scheme requirements
• The audit report shall enable an informed
certification decision to be made by the CB
Audit report basics
• Audit report shall include reference to objective
evidence to ensure that it clearly expresses
where the processes of the audited site are in
compliance, or not in compliance with Scheme
requirements
• In case where a NC is identified by the auditor,
clear and concise detail of the NC shall provided
in the audit report
• FSSC 22000 does not request a mandatory
template for audit reports
• Audit Data Summaries (ADS) are always
requested
• Full English audit reports are requested on
sample basis for the FSSC Integrity Program

• Report consistency and quality varies with
auditors and CBs
• Uneasy access to audit report: inefficient
retrieval process
• Data monitoring limited to the data entered
through the ADS

Audit report language
• Mandatory language is English
• Full audit report generated in the ViaSyst
database or uploaded shall always be in English
• The CB may always issue an audit report in the
native language of the client
