What’s the Difference? Name Brand
trademark, or a distinctive name for a brand, or for a range of products by a single manufacturer
Store Brand usually for multiple products and usually unadvertised,
for products only sold at a particular group of retail outlets
Sell By Date indicates the last day the product should remain on the
store shelf. Allows a reasonable amount of time for home storage/use after that date. Examples are dairy products, cold cuts.
Use By Date product may still be safe to eat after the date has
passed. Quality will start to go down. Examples are breads, cereals, dressings etc.

Calorie Free Low Calorie Light or Lite
Light in Sodium Fat Free Low Fat
Less than 5 calories 40 Calories or less 1/3 few calories or
