INTRO - HELLO THERERemember the thrill of discovery you used to get from science experiments in school? The freedom you had to develop your own ideas and explore new methods to put them to the test? Unfortunately, as we get older and fall into our day-to-day routines, our hypotheses often fall by the wayside.

If you’re feeling stuck in a rut, maybe it’s time to get back to the laboratory and try something new with adult course offerings from the Continuing Studies program at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD). We’ve developed a number of new courses that combine the processes and methods of scientific inquiry with the possibility of creative expression. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with new ideas and mediums and rediscover your passion for learning.

Converge traditional methods of making art with new technology in our new Hand Coloring Your Digital Photographs course, build structurally innovative sculptural works in our new Mig Welding for the Artist course, or use materials in surprisingly non-traditional ways in our new Pulp Painting and Handmade Paper course.

So what are you waiting for? Push yourself out of your comfort zone and transcend the daily grind – enroll today!
