The Battery Park City Branch Library, located on two floors of the northeast corner of Riverhouse, is the New York Public Library’s first green, LEED certified branch in Manhattan. In addition to its collection of over 23,000 items, it offers a daily schedule of readings, movies, and events targeted to everyone from toddlers and teens to adults and seniors. Designed by 1100 Architect, its warm environment supports quiet study as well as group activities.
