Hello esteemed readers! This year Folio has continued to accomplish its mission, exposing interesting gender related issues and instigating intelligent and productive discussion. This issue in particular explores a vast array of topics, from the erotic misogynist novel 50 Shades of Grey to a report on Speaker of the New York City Council Christine Quinn, who visited the Women’s Issues Club this winter. As usual this issue also features incredible artwork created by Horace Mann students. We hope you enjoy reading this issue of Folio 51 as much as we have enjoyed putting it together.
