PROJECT REPORT ON

FOIL SEALER MACHINE

OVERVIEW : The project of “ FOIL SEALER MACHINE ” is developed as part of project

work in mechanical engineering .

Our foil sealer machine is a very versatile workshop machine .

First of all, we are SWAMINARAYAN COLLEGE OF ENGG.&TECH., who gave us the opportunity to acquire practical experience on the industrial floor by imparting us an industrial project at highly esteemed industry . We are also thankful to prof . JITENDRA R. BRAHMBHATT.

We also want to thanks to prof. BHAVIK M. PADHIYAR (H.O.D) who allowed us to take up this project .

And lastly we would like to thank all the students connected to our project, who made this project possible .

WORKING MODEL OF FOIL SEALER MACHINE :

INTRODUCTION : The foil sealer machine is a very versatile workshop machine .foil sealer machine

is utilize for foil sealing of drinking water, glass, juice glass & packing sealing of article with help of heat sealable foil .

That this machine are very used for sealing aluminium foil over plastic cubs, bottles, trays etc. that this machine comes in various size 3” round sealing dia , 5” round sealing dia, 6” round sealing dia ,7” round sealing dia .

This machine is easy to use and easy to maintain .

A foil sealer can be used for pilfer evidence leak proof sealing of aluminium foil or any other compatible sealing material .

This machine comes with height adjustment and heat controller .

WORKING OF FOIL SEALER M/C :

First of all give electric supply to the machine coil through heat controller and leave it for some minutes for heating and leave it for some minutes for heating and then putting drinking water glass covered with heat sealable foil under circular plate which is heated by coil .

After this pressing the handle, contact the hot plate with the glass with appropriate pressure keep it in this condition for some seconds, untill the foil is completely sealed on the glass.

This machine is for heat sealing foil to the mouth of plastic bottle ,to avoid any chance of tempering the content of the bottle with thermostatically controlled heater, enclosed in a heating plate, working on single phase .

Its mainly use in pilfer evident leak proof sealing of foil or any other compatible sealing material .

This machine make filling , foil making and sealing as a single unit .

Highly appreciated for less power consumption , these machine are mainly used in packaging food and medical product .

DISADVANTAGES OF FOIL SEALER M/C :

If bottles dia is more than upper plate ,then bottle is not sealed .

This machine comes with height adjustment . So the bottle has more height than bottle can not sealed .

The speed of sealing bottles are very low .

Upper plate is more time to heat .

Handle is very hard to press continuously long time .

SOME ADDITIONAL SUGESION :

Keep all unpainted metal parts converted with lubrication .

Periodically tighten various nuts & bolts on the machine .

Use only the correct size of scanner & tools .

Do not attempt the load the machine beyond its rated capacity .

Use only correct grades of lubricants & hydraulic oils .

Keep rubber parts free from oils & lubrication .
