HYDRAULIC TURBINES ENERCA is able to size, design, manufacture, install and revamp turbines and runners for different applications on flowing water: rivers, streams, springs, canals, aqueducts and purification plants. Energy may be obtained whenever water is flowing in a sufficient quantity, with a sufficient speed. The water turbine is a mechanical device that aims to transform the potential energy of water into mechanical rotational energy, and then power. Such mechanical power can be directly converted into electricity if the turbine runner is attached to a generator. The mutual transformation between potential energy and kinetic energy possessed by a liquid flow determines the operating characteristics of turbines and their classification. When this transformation completely occurs in the distributor, the turbine belongs to the ‘impulse’ type, otherwise it belongs to the ‘reaction’ type. The range of products proposed by ENERCA comprises both types, as well as other various hydraulic machines all aimed at producing electricity. Enerca has devoted particular attention to the production of machines for aqueducts, where, thanks to specific patents developed and implemented by its partners, is able to offer systems manufactured with suitable and adequate materials for contact with drinking water, as well as can also guarantee no contact with oils, greases, and other lubricating and pollutant elements, in full compliance with the current regulations. HYDRAULIC TURBINES

ENERCA is able to size, design, manufacture, install and revamp turbines and runners for different applications on flowing water: rivers, streams, springs, canals, aqueducts and purification plants.
