Superintendent Pam Braman, from the

Genesis Conference, shared

about “Digital Natives, Understanding and

Reaching Millennials.” Later in the

afternoon she shared about “Women in

Ministry” and “Why I am Free Methodist”

Friday’s lunch focused on the missionaries

Pittsburgh Conference helps support. There

were video updates on the Gomez and

Fajardo families and a live visit from Corey

and Connie Persing. On Saturday our team,

made up of Collene Carney, David Glass,

Branden Robertson, and Carol Forsythe,

shared about their recent mission trip in

support of Impact Middle East. Director of

Global Church Advocacy, Gerry Coates, also

brought us a report.

A framed certificate was presented to pastors with a five year increment of service. Looking forward

to many more years of your ministry to the Conference.

Focusing on Retirement

Pastor Mary Ann Milne was presented with a beautiful engraved mantel

clock. Also retiring this past year, but not present at the banquet, were

Leroy Netting and James Jobes. Congratulations to all three.

All the retirees of the Pittsburgh Conference, who were present, were

honored.

Christine Kallquist and Paul Fehr are now Licensed Pastors.

Elders

David Glass was presented with his Free Methodist Elder’s parchment. He

transferred to Pittsburgh Conference from the Christian Missionary Alliance

denomination in 2016.

Branden Robertson, Steven Hlatky , and Joshua Green were ordained as

Elders. Bishop Roller presented each with their parchments. The conference

elders gathered around each for a prayer of dedication.

Bishop Roller spoke from the book of Hebrews, building on the pathway of past ways to find Jesus’ complete sacrifice, and posed the question of how we can follow the author’s methodology to reach our culture.
