Dormer products are primarily used by engineering firms for precision drilling, tapping, milling and reaming. Dormer make high quality bits in a wide range of incremental sizing.

Dormer offers an extensive range of standard and special drills with materials and geometry optimised to take into account the cutting behaviour of the workpiece.

The tap range includes a wide variety of choice, ranging from the type of the point to the chamfer form, as well as taking into consideration the diameter of the tap and the required thread tolerances, which are collected in standard reference DIN 13.

The three basic milling operations are peripheral milling, face milling and end milling. The characteristic feature of the milling process is that each milling cutter tooth removes its predetermined amount of material in the form of small individual chips.

A reamer is a type of rotary cutting tool used in metalworking. Precision reamers are designed to enlarge the size of a previously formed hole by a small amount but with a high degree of accuracy to leave smooth sides. There are also non-precision reamers which are used for more basic enlargement of holes or for removing burrs.

The drill range includes individual bits (including jobber, HSS and left hand drill bits) as well as sets.
