Note: FocalPoint™ Mobile will work on any Android device running Android v2.2 and higher.

from Omnilink.

4) Select the Omnilink FocalPoint Mobile link under the Android

heading.

5) After a couple of minutes, you should see a dialog box indicating

that the application has been successfully installed.

Note: Before logging into FocalPoint™ Mobile for the first time you will need to verify the application setup.

1) Open the Settings page for

the FocalPoint™ Mobile app.

2) Open the Options Menu using the appropriate

key on your device and select the Settings option.

3) Ensure

is entered in the “Enter URL” field.

1) Open the FocalPoint™

Mobile application.

2) On the login screen, enter the Domain,

User and FocalPoint™ password in the

appropriate fields.

3) Click on the Login button.

Note: Sub company features are not supported in this version of FocalPoint™

Mobile. Separate domains are required to view offenders managed through Sub companies in FocalPoint™.

4) A list of offenders with only active alerts will appear.

5) Users can view all offenders in the company by unchecking the “Alerts only” box.

Back – appears on most pages and is

used to return to the previous page.

Find – request the current location for

the offender.

Last Location – view the last location

received from the device associated

with the offender.

History – search the location history

for an offender and display the data

defined time periods; displayed in list,

road map or aerial views.

Refresh – update the information on

the status screen.

Directions – access turn-by-turn

directions to an offender’s last

location or another address.

Contact Info – view contact details for

the offender.

1) To open the status screen for a specific offender, touch the name of the appropriate offender on the offender list.

2) Mobile features available for each offender appear at the bottom of the status screen when the “Options Menu” button is pressed.

Show Alerts – alerts can be cleared by touching on the appropriate alert on the active alerts list.

Contact Info – to view the offender’s contact information, click on the “Contact Info” option from the list of offender functions.

Phone numbers – to call one of the offender’s phone numbers, click on the phone icon next to the appropriate number.

Address – to view the offender’s address on a map, click on the home icon next to the address.

Find – to determine the offender’s current location, click on the “Find” option in the list of mobile options available for the offender. The “processing” image will appear as the offender is located.

Last Location – to view the offender’s last known location, click on Last Location option in the list of mobile options available for the offender. The “processing” message will appear as the location point is found.

Location History – to search the location history for a defined time period; select the History option in the list of mobile functions available for the offender. The Location History window opens.

1) In the “Number of locations” field, designate the number of location points. Users can view 1 – 99 points.

2) Touch the “Specify time range” button.

3) Press the calendar icon under the “Start date” and “End date” headings to enter the time range desired.

4) Touch the “Get location history” button.

Location Viewing Options - Within any map screen there are multiple options for viewing data related to an

offender’s location. The default view for location data is the Map View (Figure A). The Traffic View (Figure B) and Satellite View (Figure C) can be accessed by pressing the menu button on any map screen. Options for zooming in/out and moving the map are also available.

Find the current location of the offender

Tool Tip - In all map views, a tool tip can be access by touching a location point on the map. The tool tip contains options for getting a current location for the device and/or getting directions to the highlighted point.

Directions - In different screens throughout the application, the menu button can be used to access the

Directions features of FocalPoint™ Mobile. The Directions option enables users to use the different mapping features of the Android device to generate turn-by-turn directions.
