Business PhilosophyAssociates in Business is a Marketing and Social Media Solutions company that focuses on the clients needs—ensuring that the products and services being offered are in sync with the end user. This is the foundation of successful marketing that has made many businesses incredibly successful.

The team at Associates in Business have worked on domestic and international companies that offer a variety of services and products. It is the goal of Associates in Business to implement a marketing communication strategy that will increase the Aunt I’s online presence through the design and development of engaging social media platforms.

Our approach is founded on three key fundamentals:

(1) The products: It is vital to thoroughly understand what you are selling or promoting. How will your restaurant and products stand out? Why should consumers choose your restaurant over your competition? What do people think about your business? This information will translate into communicating features into benefits.

(2) The consumer: Understanding the target audience and what relationships they have with your business is important. How does your business and products fit in their lives. Taking that approach creates an environment where your business and products address the consumer’s needs. More importantly understanding your consumer(s) will enable your marketing communications to “speak” their language.

(3) The marketplace: Having key insights into your industry, perception of the competition and how your customers fit within this arena is important in creating successful marketing communications. Who are your direct and indirect competitors and their specific strengths and weaknesses?

After compiling the information from the three key fundamentals we can establish a strategy to achieve your business objectives—increase social media engagement. To accomplish these objectives entails the development and execution of multiple components.

• Brand identity: Given the competitive market place, the consumer must feel that they are going to the official pages for the business. One way to convey this is to develop a social media strategy that continues the brand’s look and feel.

• Marketing Communication Consistency: The proposal is specifically for Social Media Solutions, that promote one another with the effort of increasing traffic to and from the website or social media pages whose purpose is to convert “visitors” into “customers.” Updating all social medial channels to match the website will ensure what consumers encounter when they see, or read about, Aunt I’s is consistent across all mediums.

• Brand Personality: Developing social media solutions entails giving them a “personality” that achieves a positive perception in the eyes of consumers. The social media channels should reflect Aunt I’s as an innovative business and experience that is portrayed on its new website. That can be accomplished by providing visitors with an engaging design and useful applications on social media platforms. These features will encourage fans to respond to posts and initiate “conversations”. These conversations are shared and will create good impression and build brand loyalty.

Social Media Platform DesignThe saying “Less is more” always holds true. In the business of marketing communication the message should always be simple and clear. Creating a Facebook fanpage that is visually appealing and highly functional to users is a challenge. It requires understanding of marketing, design and computer-human interaction. This is accomplished by the following steps:

• Establishing a clear visual hierarchy— Doing so will save the consumer time since the design of the pages has prioritized the content for the user (i.e. fanpage tabs).

• Strategic design combines the use of copy with imagery to effectively communicate specific messaging and branding elements from the website. The choices presented to the consumer/ visitor would be intuitive with a sense of clear direction giving the consumer a positive user experience. A dedicated company fanpage also achieves brand awareness when website design elements are brought into Facebook fanpage.

• Focus is achieved by making useful content more prominent and eliminating unnecessary text and graphics.
