L&L Further Oral Activity Proposal: Part One

1. Carefully read the Further Oral Activity Guidelines from the IBO (see earlier handout). Highlight the key features of the task.

2. Check the FOA Rubric to see how you will be assessed.

3. Select a text(s) relevant to Part One of the course that you will base your Further Oral Activity (FOA) on.

4. Decide what form of FOA you would like to prepare. Your choice should be discussed with your teacher well in advance of the oral presentation being made. Fill in a Proposal form and hand it in on 2/9/2015. Your FOA should be about 8 minutes.

5. At the end of your FOA, you will need to write a Reflective Statement, which is kept by the teacher, about your performance and the progress made on your language learning goals.
