Hybrid cable: energy + telecom
Combined solution of energy power cores and optical fiber interstitial, that allows to interconnect a site with both services.
25 Confidential : Presentation | Prysmian Group | 2nd August 2012
Through the recent acquisition of Global Marine Energy the Group expanded its ability to offer
turnkey products and services (including design, manufacture and installation) to the offshore
wind farms growing market.
Our vessels represent important assets and have advanced technological features capable of
installing cable systems also in adverse sea and weather conditions.
The result is a more comprehensive control over the supply chain coming from the insourcing of
the installation work and the extension of our installation range to the MV sector.
