INTRODUCTIONThe term fashion though is new tomany; literally speaking fashion cameinto being with the advent of humanbeing in this world. Adam and Evecovered themselves with fig leavesthough at that time they had noconcept of modesty. Ornamentationand adornment thus had always beena strong force behind clothing. Latercivilizations seek different ways toadorn themselves. People of StoneAge tattooed their bodies, usedleaves and twigs to cover their nakedbodies. Pharaohs on the other handloved to display their wealth byclothing in most extravagant ways.They wore wigs, painted their bodies,and embalmed their dead in mostbeautiful clothes.Christianity preached moderation indressing, but very few obeyed that.Islam on the other hand formulated acomplete dress code for both maleand female which was theiridentification.

This fashion trend may be set byglamorous fashion magazines or celebrities. Somemay feel more comfortable following a trend setfor them. Fashion is a sign language or way ofcommunication. Through it one can express his orher emotions, feelings, thoughts, and over allpersonality. Our clothes tell a lot about us. Ourclothes tell who we are in the society. It helps inidentification and tell others what we want, whatour talents, our needs, our personalities, ourdispositions and our destinations.
