1. National Disaster Management Authority (NOMA) invites applications for filling up2 posts of Project Associate in the field of earthquake (1) and Landslide (1) oncontract basis initially for a period of one year extendable for another one year oranalogous to concerned project, as per following criteria (TOR).

2. Educational Qualification and Experience

Educational Qualification Earthquake- Graduation in Civil Engineering/Seismology/

Geology/Geography/Architecture / UrbanPlanning

Landslide- Graduation in Civil

Engineering/Environmental Science /Geology/Geography/Hydrology

Skill & Attributes (i) Good Communication & Networking skills(ii) Good Reporting and Documentation skills(iii) Knowledge of MS- Office and proficiency

in typing and willingness to undertakeresponsibilities without any secretarialassistance.

Work Experience (i) Minimum of 3 years experience in project!programme management/ Implementation

(ii) Experience of 1 years in the domain ofdisaster management is desirable.

Consolidated Fee Rs. 35,000/- per monthAge Limit Maximum age limit -65 years. Retired Govt.

employees with Grade pay of Rs.6600/- and abovewith above mentioned qualifications /experiencewould also be eligible

3. Outline of the Tasks to be carried out:

I. To prepare and submit a detailed project implementation chart withsegregation of project activities on a monthly basis.

ii. To coordinate and liaise with the stakeholders on a weekly basis forsmooth implementation of the scheme and monitor the progresswith respect to project activities

iii. To assist the Division of NOMA in liaison with implementing agencyfor smooth implementation of various activities.

IV. To assist the Division of NOMA in for conduction of capacitybuilding programmes and other related activities.

v. To assist for conducting meeting, preparing minutes etc.VI. To assist the Programme Division of NOMA in ensuring timely

release of funds.vii. To generate reports on the progress of the project deliverables as

required.viii. To assist the Programme Division of NOMA to organize the

meetings of the project monitoring committee and follow up on itsrecommendations.

ix. Any other work that may be considered necessary for overallimplementation of the scheme

4. Duration of Engagement: Initially the engagement will be for a period of 12months, extendable for another 12 months based on the performance levels andcontinuity of the scheme.

5. No. of Leaves: Total of 8 in a year

General Conditions: The engagement of Project Associate will be governed as perextant rules and guidelines for posts under the said category issued by AdministrationDivision of NOMA for hiring Junior Consultants.
