Dear FMC Volunteers, During this National Volunteer Week, we want to thank all of you for your “vested” commitment and interest in our hospital. This past year you donated over 74,000 hours! This recognition week is an opportunity to remind you that we value you as an essential part of our team! The countless hours of your time that you donate are so valuable – our patients, families, staff and physicians recognize your dedication and are thankful for all that you do. It is remarkable to consider that the FMC volunteer team numbers over 700 people involved in everything from visiting patients, delivering mail, providing patient internet access and helping with wayfinding to name just a few areas. We are especially grateful for the gift shop volunteers and the significant monetary support that Volunteer Resources provides for patient care equipment at FMC and the White Rose Program.
