William Gleason studied Aikido from 1970 to 1980 at the world headquarters (Hombu Dojo) in Japan and also with Yamaguchi Seigo Shihan. During that same period, Gleason Shihan also studied swordsmanship (kenjutsu) as well as Japanese language, classical music, and Eastern religion.

Dinner will be at the International Hotel, 525 Boundary Road Spring Hill (Cnr Boundary Road & Torrington Street) The Hotel is a craft beer pub with its own in-house brewery and bistro. (Special dietary requirements should be notified to Kim Walker 0400 498 559)

For those who are driving to the dojo, there is some (limited) parking

in the Dojo carpark (Cnr of Commercial Road and Harcourt Street) as

well as street parking in Harcourt Street
