Fluorescent lamps
Fluorescent lighting is efficientand economical.The efficacy(lumen/watt) of all fluorescentlamps is high compared to mostother light sources.Different luminaires are availablefor various purposes.TL-D lamps are low-pressuremercury discharge lamps with aclear tubular 26 mm envelope.The tube wall is internallycovered with a mixture offluorescent powders.TL-D Standard colours have amoderate colour rendering index(C.R.I. 50 - 75). Especially the redpart of the spectral powerdistribution is moderatelycovered by standard colours.
TL-D Standard colours aremostly used in applicationswhere colour rendering is not animportant parameter.The efficacy of TL-D Standardcolours is lower than TL-D /80colours.The colour designation of TL-Dlamps creates a certainatmosphere. It varies from warm-white to cool daylight.The colourdesignation is determined by thecolour temperature of the lamp.

RecyclableMASTER TL-D Super /80 lampsare recyclable: materials (glass,metal, fluorescent powder,mercury) from end-of-life lampscan be recycled in theproduction of new TL lamps ifthe right disassembly technologyis used.All MASTER TL-D Super /80lamps are produced with an end-cap with a green bottom plate tohighlight the environmentalbenefits of these lamps, especiallyrecyclability.
