The new location is still in the same industrial estate, and a mere stones throw away from our last premises, so you can still easily find us.

The new warehouse is almost double the size of the last facility, 8,800 ft² of warehouse floor space with racking from floor to ceiling. It also boasts a fantastic amount of office space, 3,000 ft², compared

to 800 ft² of office space in the previous unit. There is now plenty of space for reps visiting, plus a large meeting room which can hold 30 people!

The new premises also has a purpose built trade counter, where our customers can come and ask for advice on oils and lubricants, and can wait in comfort while their order is prepared. The signage within

We are extremely pleased to have moved into new premises!

Following our honour of receiving Castrol Ambassador Status in 2012, we have since become Castrol Automotive distributors in early 2015, which means our stock holding requirement has become far greater. During 2015, we also become Castrol Energy distributors (see page 7), so the necessity for space is even more crucial.

the reception area will represent that of a Castrol branded independent workshop, so for any independent workshop customers who are considering taking on the Castrol Plus package, you can see just what it will look like for yourself.

If you’re around the Preston area then please call in and say hello, it would be great to see you!

Look out for details of our open day, you’ll be able to come in and speak to one of our Technical Sales Engineers or a Technical Advisor from Castrol, and get a free Castrol T-shirt!

Castrol Product Updates…

The streamlining of product names and relabelling products has sometimes had an adverse effect and caused a delay in despatching products once they have been produced. The implication of this has been occasional delays in lead times and getting products to customers. During these instances we have, and always will, keep customers informed, as and when we get updates and information from Castrol.

Another major change to product labelling in 2015 has been the reclassification of certain products for GHS. This is part of the United Nations (UN) Globally Harmonised System (GHS) of classification and labelling of chemicals. It will harmonise the different laws globally that control how chemicals are classified, labelled and how their safety data sheets are written.

Unfortunately the reclassification of some of the products means, even though the product formulations have not changed, they are now reclassified as hazardous. This has repercussions for the transportation of the products and the goods will now have to go with a different courier company who are able to transport hazardous goods.

During 2015 Castrol have been making a number of changes to product names. This has been to streamline their portfolio of products globally, which will help to improve the product production, packaging and ordering processes with Castrol.

Any questions please call the office on

03300 555655 or email [email protected] for further information.

This regrettably will have an impact on cost of carriage of these goods, but full information and costs will be given with any enquiry or order.
