Literacy:Creative writing task:You need to pick a country and write a promotional piece of writing as to why people – or tourists - should visit in future (now would not be a great time to travel). Think about the interesting things that you can do and see in the different countries of the world. There are more to countries than just big cities – this will take some time to research your chosen country. (I am secretly trying to get you to plan my stag do for me so make sure you make some fantastic recommendations. As always, feel free to email them to the year6savs@gmail.com email account. Please consider beer prices.)

I will obviously check the emails to see if any have come through. I would hope somewhere with good weather has been chosen – the miserable weather in England (minus this week) is something I would like to get away from! If it was my choice at this point, I would probably choose Croatia (the first picture).
