Learning objective: I can explain the factors leading to migration to the UK during the 20th Century.

Factors are things that influence or contribute to something happening.

The 20th Century was the century (100 years) which started in 1900 and continued until the end of 1999. Mr Crump was born in 1983, which was in the 20th Century. If you were born in 2008 or 2009, you were born in the 21st Century.
