How long shall I cry for help, and you will not listen. Why do you not hear us when we are terrified?” His fidelity does not arise from feeling God’s presence as from the shaping one’s life according to God’s Word in righteousness, or in relaonships of integrity, with God and God’s people. On the other hand, the psalm- ist admonishes us to listen to the voice of the Lord. Here the problem lies with us and not with God. Praise, thanksgiving and worship in recognion of God’s acts of deliverance makes us open to God’s Word. We also heard in the second reading, the great lament of the apostle, Paul. He urges Timothy not to be ashamed of him, but to share in the experience of marginalizaon that comes from following the Gos- pel. The me of distress is the opportunity for mani- fesng God’s giſts with the courage that is evident in love. In the Gospel the apostles understand it and ask the Lord. “Lord, increase our faith”. Faith gives us the chance for unlimited possibilies. Jesus said: “If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you”. There is a special measure of faith which gives the power to people to make something unusual - of course thanks to God. When we faithfully care for the people in our lives day in and day out we become the people whom God designated us to be. I don’t think that we are special but I think that we are Chrisans and a faithful people, and it obligates us to uncondi- onally be of service to one another. Faith which we allow and profess mobilizes us to serve one another and it can be the source of deep friendship to each other and to God. From such a source of faith, peace pours into our hearts and will overcome the fear and the violence in our world. That is why we ask today just as the apostles did: “Lord, increase our faith forgive our failings, keep us in your peace and lead us in the way of salvaon. You are so good for those who hope in You. You are the Lord of all”. TWENTY-SEVENTH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME October 6th, 2019 YEAR C For emergency contact: Fr. * REFLECTION *

Habakkuk pours out his sorrow before God and to God: “Lord, wrong is being done to me”. How long shall I cry for help, and you will not listen. Why do you not hear us when we are terrified?” His fidelity does not arise from feeling God’s presence as from the shaping one’s life according to God’s Word in righteousness, or in relationships of integrity, with God and God’s people. On the other hand, the psalm-ist admonishes us to listen to the voice of the Lord. Here the problem lies with us and not with God. Praise, thanksgiving and worship in recognition of God’s acts of deliverance makes us open to God’s Word. We also heard in the second reading, the great lament of the apostle, Paul. He urges Timothy not to be ashamed of him, but to share in the experience of marginalization that comes from following the Gos-pel. Faith gives us the chance for unlimited possibilities. Jesus said:

2. THE ROSARY, a treasure to be rediscovered by the Christian community. Let us do so, especially this year when we celebrate Mary's appearance in Fatima. I ask You, my Brothers and Sisters of every state of life, to you, Christian families, to you, the sick and elders, and to you, young people: confidently take up the Rosary once again. Rediscover the Rosary in the light of Scripture, in harmony with the Liturgy and in the context of your daily lives.
