Flower

SIZES:

You can make this flower in desired size. The size will depend on your yarn size.

Note! Begin with recommended hook size from yarn label, but then feel free to experiment with different size

hooks for different size flowers.

MATERIALS:

1 ball or skein 100% cotton yarn (But you can use any desired yarn, if you want.)

(I used crochet thread-size10 and B/1 hook to make flower above; light worsted yarn (3) and E/4 hook to

make flower in the pattern.)

GAUGE:

Flower above: 2 2/8” (6cm) diameter

Flower in the pattern: 3 2/8” (8cm) diameter

BASIC STITCHES:

Ch-chain; sl st-slip stitch; dc-double crochet

Description Flower 2.

Rnd 1: Ch8, join with sl st to the first ch to form ring; (You can lead the beginning tail under the dcs

you will be making next, to avoid having to weave in later. You just have to cut it when you finish

crocheting.)

Ch2 (Ch2 counts as first dc), 23 dc in ring. Join with sl st in top of ch2, do not turn! (24 dc made)

Rnd 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in next st, *ch2, skip next st, 2 dc in next st; Repeat from * around,

Join with sl st in top of ch2, do not turn! (22 dc made)

Rnd 3: Ch2, (counts as first dc), dc in next st, *3 dc in space, dc in next 2 sts; Repeat from * around, 3dc

in last space. Join with sl st in top of ch2, do not turn! (44 dc made)

Rnd 4: Ch1, *sc in next st, skip next 2 sts, 8 tc in next st, skip next 2 sts; Repeat from * 9 times. Join

with sl st in beginning ch (72 tc made) Fasten off. Weave in ends.
