Terminator: A start or end of a process

Process: A step in the process.

Predefined Process: Another process that may be known or understood but isn't detailed in the chart.

Decision: A point at which you must make a decision in the process.

Connector: Cross-references or leads to another process within the chart.

Data: Any kind of input or output, such as receiving or dispersing information.

Document: Anything that is produced for people to read, such as a printout.

Multi document: To show that more than one document has been produced for people to read.

Delay: A wait in the process.

Preparation: A preparatory step.

Arrow: To show the flow to the next stage
