SITUATION– Chevron Phillips Petrochem facility in Sweeney, TX

– Transitioning many volumetric meters to coriolis due to frequent calibration requirements

CHALLENGE– Very high Proving expense (monthly to quarterly) for coriolis

based on existing practices for volumetric meters

SOLUTION– Installed dozens of Coriolis meters with Smart Meter Verification

– Regular SMV operation and certificate generation allows them to extend proving time period
