President Bill hands over the “coveted cup” in appreciation of

our Speaker Sal Gentile of The American Tinnitus Association

for a very informative talk on what Tinnitus and it’s causes and

some of the ways one can cope with it.

ATA is the nation’s foremost and trusted organization com-

mitted to finding cures for tinnitus and hyperacusis. There com-

mitment demands focus, determination, strategy and re-

sources.

ATA promotes synergy between dedicated medical profession-

als and researchers who work with and within the tinnitus com-

munity. The battle for a cure is real, and will be won through

advances in technology and medicine, areas where they have

often been a conduit to new discoveries. They fulfill their mis-

sion by : funding targeted research projects; providing educa-

tion, hope and support for the tinnitus community; advocating

for effective public policies focused on advancing science to-

wards the cures for tinnitus and hyperacusis; and collaborating

with others to promote awareness, encourage prevention and

to ultimately silence tinnitus.

The Four Way Test

Of the things

We think say or do

1. Is it the truth?

2. Is it fair to all concerned?

3. Will it build goodwill and

better Friendships?
