The Residents Welfare Officer (RWO)

The RWO is dedicated to caring for every resident. Individual interests are researched and encouraged. The RWO organises stimulating and interesting activities for individual residents on a daily basis and group activities and/or entertainment from time to time.

Qualified Nursing Staff

Qualified Nursing Staff are always on duty. Nurses attend regular training courses at Salisbury District Hospital and are fully supported in meeting their responsibilities for Continuous Professional Development. Florence Nightingale is one of the few Nursing Homes in the area accredited for Student Nurse Placements.

Care Staff

All of our Care Staff must complete induction training and are then, if not already qualified, trained to NVQ levels 2/3/4 in care. Further training will include Health & Safety, Basic First Aid, Food, Hygiene and Manual Handling.
