Florence “Duomo Monumental Complex” Guided Tour - Priority access NEW!

Palazzo Vecchio and its battlements guided Tour at sunset with spectacular View from the Top NEW!

The tour of the “Grande Museo del Duomo” (Great Museum of the Cathedral) is a single great itinerary that will take you through more than 1500 years of history, embracing all the monuments on the world-famous Piazza del Duomo: from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, to the Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the St. John’s Baptistery and the Museum of the Works of the Cathedral. A unique chance to enjoy a truly ex-ceptional cultural experience in the heart of Medieval and Renaissance Florence, a “tour of marvels” among the monuments of a square that is a concentration of art unlike any in the world. Your art historian guide will first take you to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John, the Patron Saint of Florence. The Baptistery is one of the oldest buildings in Flor-ence (XI century) and home to the glittering golden mosaics that decorate the dome and a spectacular Matroneo (Women’s Gallery). The outer façade is covered in Carrara and Prato marble and is enriched with the beautiful bronze doors, including a copy of the two known as the Gates of Paradise (we’ll see the originals inside the “Opera del Duomo” Museum (Museum of the Works of the Cathedral) during the tour. As we leave the Bap-tistery, the tour proceeds with the elegant Giotto’s Bell Tower, covered in multi-coloured marble and graced with a base decorated with a fabulous figurative cycle. The guide will reveal then the secrets of the celebrated majestic Brunelleschi’s Dome, the largest ma-sonry construction ever built, one of the city’s icons. Inside the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and the third largest church in the world, you can admire the beautiful frescoes by Vasari and Zuccari adorning the inside of the Dome, one of the world’s most important stained glass window cycles created by the greatest artists of the early Renaissance and magnificent works by Baccio Bandinelli, Benedetto da Maiano, Luca Della Robbia, Lorenzo Ghiberti, Andrea Del Castagno and many others. The tour will continue with a visit to the spectacular “Opera del Duomo” Museum. The greatest treasures from the monuments of the great Cathedral Complex are all carefully housed in this incredible Museum, in an amazing scenic setting. We’ll see a life-size reconstruction of the Cathedral as it was in the times of Dante Alighieri, as well as the sculptures of Arnolfo di Cambio, Donatello and Nanni di Banco. We’ll see the original doors of the Baptistery, including the gilded Gates to Paradise done by Lorenzo Ghiberti. We’ll be moved as we gaze upon the Pietà del Duomo sculpted by Michelangelo and the Penitent Magdalene by Donatello. We’ll admire the beauty of the Altar of St. John, a stupendous silver masterpiece, and the other magnificent works of art done by the greatest medieval and renaissance artists of Florence. Those who desire, may climb up to the Museum panoramic terrace to admire the grandiose Dome to a close distance. A few steps from the Cathedral square, you will be offered a delicious taste of Chianti wine and tidbits of cheese with balsamic vinegar.

Palazzo Vecchio, which stands majestically on Florence skyline, is one of the most recognized symbols of the city. Built during the Middle-Ages, it still preserves the austere architecture of the fourteenth century, with its crenellated top that surrounds the imposing Arnolfo’s Tower which, with its 95 meters high, is the highest viewpoint of the city, after Brunelleschi’s Dome. The indoor parts of the building, beautifully renovated in the ‘500 when the Palace became the house of Medici, are instead typically Re-naissance and hold priceless treasures and works of art. In the sumptu-ous halls and the private apartments of the family, worked the greatest artists of the period. Visit the palace means to stroll among the won-ders of Renaissance and retrace its history, discovering also the secrets and tales linked to the powerful Medici family. The elegant courtyard by Michelozzo, welcomes you at the beginning of a visit that will enable you to admire the famous and beautiful “Hall of the 500”, the charming and intimate study of Francesco I de’ Medici, the beautiful private apartments of Eleonora of Toledo and Cosimo I de’ Medici and the sumptuous and stunning boardrooms, in an incredible series of frescoes, paintings, dec-orations and statues of the greatest Renaissance artists as Michelangelo, Donatello, Verrocchio, Vasari, Ghirlandaio and Bronzino, just to mention some of them. After this incredible full immersion in the art masterpieces, you will access with your guide to the top of the building, on the ancient “battlemented patrol path”, which offers a spectacular walk around the top of the palace where to enjoy an original tour of the city from the height of 40 meters! The spectacular sight of Florence monuments at sunset will remain in the best memories of your stay in Florence! The most enterprising and tireless of you, will continue the climb up to the top of Arnolfo’s Tower, to end the tour with a stunning “aerial view” of the whole city and its hills

The complete visit of the “Great Museum of the Cathedral”, an unforgettable tour of the monuments of Piazza del Duomo, a museum complex like none other in the world, steeped in the art, history and faith that made this city great.

The discovery of Renaissance treasures and Medici’s history and secrets inside their Palace, followed by an amazing visit of the town, walking around the crenellated parapet which crowns the building!

Electric Bike Tour of Florence and its Hills with typical tasting - small group NEW!

Dinner and Opera in the Heart of Florence - Typical Restaurant NEW!

Admire Florence and its magnificent hills in an active and original way and be surprised using this new electric bike that allows you to see a lot with little effort! Anyone who knows how to ride a bike, though not in tip-top shape, can embark on this wonderful adventure with the help of the new technology! This slow-tour along bike lanes and safe streets is the ideal way to enjoy the best of the city and the countryside around Florence, with its stunning scenery and breathtaking views that will allow you to capture exceptional photos. A native Florentine tour leader will guide you on one of the most spectacular and charming hill tours available, where you will experience unparalleled views of the Tuscan country-side. A short ride takes us to Fiesole hill, along ancient and peaceful hill roads to arrive at a delightful farm on the outskirts of the city that produces organic prod-ucts. Here you can stop to visit the farm and admire the harmonious rural land-scape and the splendid Renaissance cloister and, if you like, enjoy a snack (not included) in the characteristic shop selling local products. Then we will proceed along the route that leads to the famous terrace of Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can stop to enjoy the unforgettable panorama that encompasses the entire city. Climbing once again, you can admire the magnificent Romanesque basilica of San Miniato al Monte, and then descend into the heart of the city along a short scenic route that leads to the Lungarni riverside streets. We will stop off at a cosy wine bar featuring the wines and food products of the Chianti region, where you will be offered a delicious tasting. Then we’ll proceed to the historic centre, pass-ing through characteristic streets and splendid piazzas, where all the emblematic monuments of the city will pass before you, like in a film, with plenty of oppor-tunity to immortalise them during our photo-taking stops: Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, Piazza della Signoria, the Cathedral with the Brunelleschi Dome, Giotto’s Campanile, the Baptistery with the Porta del Paradiso, the Basilica di Santa Croce and much more.

An evening in true genuine Italian style, dedicated to the dis-covery of the Tuscan cuisine and one of the most famous Operas. You will enjoy your dinner in the ancient and fasci-nating neighborhood “Oltrarno”, in the old city center where the Restaurant is located. In the suggestive atmosphere of this typical Florentine tavern, a Tuscan dinner is served with a good Chianti wine. A few steps from the Restaurant, in an intimate and old setting (the Anglican church), you’ll enjoy a very special and unforgettable evening. Let the music trans-port you while, talented singers in costume, perform one of the most beautiful Opera (La Bohème - La Traviata - Carmen - Marriage of Figaro - Madama Butterfly)*, slightly adapted to suit the intimate setting and accompanied by our virtu-oso pianist. Our booking is for front row seats to fully enjoy this complete and fascinating show: you have never been so close to opera singers!

The new smart and easy way to discover the entire City and the hills of Fiesole, Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte. An adventure between art, landscapes and Tuscan flavors

A romantic Italian Night: a tasty Dinner with a complete Opera performance in a charming setting

Highlights of Tuscany: Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, Pisa - lunch with delicious local wines NEW!

Depart for Siena, driving through the lovely Chianti vineyards, getting there while the town is still immersed in early morning drowsiness; the perfect time of day to wander around the pedestrian-friendly heart of this beautiful hilltop town, drenched in history. Upon arrival in Siena our local guide will take you on a guided walking tour along the small medieval streets and squares, passing passing the oldest bank in the world, and the Piazza del Campo - site of the famous 600-year-old Palio horse-race, to the spectacular Cathedral. During your free time, stroll through Siena at your own pace. A short journey then takes us to a family run wine-farm in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Here we shall have a delicious, traditional Tuscan lunch served with typical wines from our region. After lunch, departure for San Gimignano, Unesco world heritage, famous for the still intact mediaeval town planning. It is often nicknamed the “Man-hattan of the Middle Ages” because its famous tall, narrow towers cre-ate a skyline that looks a bit like a modern city. Here you have free time to explore the town centre, the charming craftsmen’s shops along the cobbled stone streets and small squares. From San Gimignano, we drive past hilltop hamlets, or little churches, scattered over some of the most beautiful and enchanting countryside. We finally wind down the hillsides towards the coast, to Pisa, our last destination for the day. Getting off the coach, we reach the Field of Miracles, a green grass field dominated by the dazzling white buildings of the Cathedral or Duomo, the Tower and the Baptistery - exquisite examples of Pisan Romanesque architecture: the Leaning Tower is almost 56 meters tall (about 183 ft). It leans at about 4 degrees, making it one of the most famous and iconic buildings in the world. You are in one of the most renowned places in the world: revel in it, take creative photographs or wander off down the local streets.
