Electronic milk metering

DeLaval milk meter MM25 SG is the key to DeLaval ock

management system for sheep and goats. It displays and records

individual information to be processed in ALPRO Windows SG.

Infrared light technology makes MM25 SG extremely accurate.

Its compact design, without moving parts, minimizes the risk of

breakdowns and maintains accuracy along the line. In proof of its

reliability, MM25 SG is the rst milk meter to be approved by ICARfor small ruminants.

Automatic cluster removal (ACR)

DeLaval ACR shuts off the milking vacuum and removes the cluster

when the animal is milked out. Half of your job is done automatically,

so milking is faster and total milking time is signicantly reduced.

Moreover over-milking is avoided, reducing the mastitis risk and

lowering somatic cell counts (SCC). A milker can handle twice the

number of clusters compared to a plant without ACR, with no risk of

over-milking.

ALPRO Windows* SG

ALPRO Windows SG 2.0 is a user friendly and exible management

program designed to optimize your decision making process. ALPRO

accurately collects and evaluates data from every animal in your

ock, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also control the

information through highlight, drag and drop to create tailor-made

reports. Having complete milking, feeding, breeding and veterinary

information empowers you to make better management decisions.

electronic ID and a herd management system? How would inormation be handled?

How would decisions be made about breeding, eeding and management? Would it be

the operational part o milking management. It is ideal or

armers who want to ollow a simple, ecient and consistent

milking routine, minimizing the need or manual input. Yet

the system records and displays valuable inormation such as

animal number, milk yield and attention messages at the milk

meter display.

with ALPRO herd management system

rom the parlour. With the remoteunction you can read or modiy

inormation rom any milking place.

DeLaval milking point controller MPC510 SG

DeLaval MPC510 SG records and sends inormation directly

to ALPRO herd management system. You get real-time data

on milk yields, animal numbers, milk lows, milking dura-

tion, stall position, etc. providing the management

inormation you need to control your lock. All relevant

attentions are indicated with various coloured LEDs to alert

the operator immediately when action is required.

Electronic ID system

Whether eeding, milking or drating, ID is the key.

Automatic identication is a natural complement to milk

metering and the key to an integrated fock management

system. DeLaval portal ID SG can read boluses or

eartags, achieving an outstanding identication hit rate.

There is no need to install and manipulate one antenna

per milking place with this ully automatic and trouble

ree ID system.

Hand held reader

Todays dairy armers can save a lot o time and money

by using DeLaval hand held reader HHR SG. There is no

need to keep large amounts o inormation in your fock,

or in masses o paper.

With the hand held reader you can easily identiy

animals at the barn and assign them attentions or events.

Once you are back at your desk, data is automaticallysynchronized with ALPRO Windows SG.

Sorting gate

DeLaval sorting gate SG-SG helps you to reduce

your daily labour demands by automatically diverting

selected animals that require special attention such as:

insemination, dry-o, and veterinary treatments, to a

separation area. ALPRO Windows allows you to select

single animals or groups o animals sorted by dierent

criteria. It is also possible to sort animals during milking,

just by pressing the sort once button on MPC510 SG.

Feed systems

DeLaval eed systems such as eed wagons or eeding

stations enable you to adjust eed rations to maximize

milk production, while controlling labour costs and

working hours. ALPRO Windows keeps track o each

animal, adjusting the quantity and type o eed according

to her milk production. It also eeds small rations on

a requent basis. Both strategies use eed eciently tomaximize nutritional intake and to increase yield.
