An Exterior So Detailed It Will l Blow Your Mind. One of the many things that Captain Sim is known for is the amount of time and effort that they spend on making every little detail of the exterior of their add-ons perfectly, and including a working everything, from emer-gency exits, to the pilot windows, it all works and that is the reason that my flight sim fleet consists mainly of Captain Sims amazing products, because I unlike many other simmers fly the majority of my flights from the spot view of the airplane! Don’t get me wrong, I love a great virtual cockpit too, and that brings me to my next point...

...The interior of the Captain Sim 767 is equally as amazing, and features an amazing virtual passenger cabin, in which you basically get to experience what it would be like to be a passenger on the aircraft. My favorite thing about the virtual passenger cabin is that if I do a really crappy landing, which I’m not saying that I do often. I like to go back and playback the re-cording of my landing and re-experience it as a passenger to see just how terrible I really was!

The Interior Is Amazing Too!

The Captain Sim 767 is a fine add-on to have in your flight simulator fleet, and if you love a good looking air-plane like I do, then this is the add-on for you!

Please be sure to read the next issue of FlightSim Mag-azine when I will continue my Captain Sim 767 review with the ultimate add-on for an add-on, the Captain Sim 767 Freighter Expansion.

My Conclusion!

Carenado B900D! ne of the most recognizable aircrafts in the World, is now available for flight sim, the B1900D from Carenado will blow your minds with its amaz-ing graphics, great sounds, and ultra-realistic flight dynamics!

Amazing Exterior! The exterior modeling, and textur-ing of Carenado’s B1900D is as you would expect from a high quality publisher such as Carenado. The add-on features highly detailed tex-tures, clearly and crisply showing everything that you’d expect to see on a real life 1900 right down to the absolute smallest details, like the emergency warnings etc.

The exterior model of Carenado’s B1900D is also amazingly detailed, and everything on the aircraft is scaled perfectly with both the rest of the aircraft, and everything around you in the virtual world that we call flight simulator, whether you are using FSX, or P3D.

Stunning Interior!A lot like Carenado’s other Beech-craft add-ons, such as their King Air C90B the 1900D features a highly detailed virtual cockpit, alongside an extremely detailed virtual passenger cabin, together making the ultimate B1900D experience for flight simu-lator!

Also for one of the first time ever for Carenado, this add-on features a fully working FMS!

After taking Carenado’s good old 1900D out for what was supposed to be just a quick little fly around the mountains, I immediately fell in love with the aircraft and have flown it on a daily bases since.

Overall the add-on is very well done, and flys realistically, I would recom-mend it to anyone into the smaller regional airliners!

Final Thoughts.

he Twin Otter is probably one of the most well known aircrafts in the World, being the aircraft of choice for bush flying world wide since its launch in 1966. Aerosofts recreation of the Twotter, is nothing buy absolute perfection, a real trea-sure of an add-on, that you absolutely have to ad to your flight sim fleet if you do any amount of bush, or float flying! I’m sure that you’ll agree once you have taken it for a short fly, nothing beats a great bush fly in Aerosofts Twin Otter Extended!

An Interior Fit For A King!I love me a good interior, and the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended fits the bill perfectly, giving me a super high quality virtual cockpit, and an amazingly detailed virtual passenger cabin. The texturing on the inside of the airplane is also amazing, and let me tell you, I wouldn’t trade my Twin Otter Ex-tended for any other add-on in the world, its by far my favorite add-on in my entire FSX fleet!

Some Exterior Modeling Thats Just Better. The exterior of the Twin Otter Extended is amazing, I’m really not sure of any other way to describe it, so simply put the exterior modeling of the Twin Otter Extended is juts better. Its better than any other Aerosoft prod-uct, and possibly even any other flight sim add-on altogether (at least in my mind).

Overall this add-on just never ceased to amaze me, every time it seemed that it was the perfect add-on for my flight sim fleet it just seemed to show me something new that made it even better. I highly recommend this product to you if you enjoy flying, it doesn’t matter what you enjoy flying, but if you en-joy flying the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended is a great option for you to think about your next add-on for FSX.

Final Thoughts.

Rick Pipers HS748

Price: $0.00 USD

Freeware!

We all love a good freeware right? Well, I’m about to show you one of the best!Originally designed for FS9, Rick Pipers famed HS748 has also been ported over to FSX, and all I have to say is WOW! The add-on easily competes with any payware add-ons for FS9, and is even by far one of the best freeware add-ons for FSX, you would honestly probably never know that the aircraft wasn’t originally meant to be for FSX, its just that good.

Page 22: FlightSim Magazine Issue 5

FlightSimmagazineWWW.FLIGHTSIMMAG.COMFACEBOOK.COM/FLIGHTSIMMAGAZINE

The exterior model is the real crown jewel of this freeware add-on. The modeling work on the exterior is amazing, and it is very realistic, staying true to the real aircraft as much, maybe even more than you’d expect from a true high quality add-on for FSX, or FS9

An Exterior That Rivals Payware.

A Great Interior. This add-on features a fairly good interior, with an okay virtual cockpit. Actually the interior far exceeds my expectations for that add-on, consid-ering that it was originally produced as an FS9 add-on. Although not at the same standard as todays payware add-on interiors, the interior (VC and 2D panel) of this add-on are both fairly good and rival most of todays freeware add-ons.

Overall, I was very pleased with the interior of the HS748, and for the price it really cant be beat!
