Summary of changes Changes between document issues are cumulative. Therefore, the latest document issue contains all changes made to previous issues.

    Changes between issue 02A (2012-11-11, RL25TD) and issue 02B (2013-05-23, RL25TD).

FZNI layout has been added to Flexi Multiradio BTS modules used in configurations. FZNI configurations have been added.Changes between issue 02 (2012-06-25, RL25TD) and issue 02A (2012-11-11, RL25TD).

FBBA layout has been updated throughout the document. Configuration 1+1+1 A or I (BW 10MHz or 20MHz) using two RF Modules is also

supported by FZNC. Information regarding needed FBBA modules in configuration 1+1+1 O (BW 10MHz

or 20MHz) with beamforming has been corrected.

    Changes between issue 01 (2012-03-22, RL15TD) and issue 02 (2012-06-25, RL25TD).

Section Flexi Multiradio BTS modules used in configurations has been updated. Section TD-LTE Configurations has been updated:

RL25TD-specific configurations have been added RL15TD-specific configurations have been removed

Issue 01 (2012-03-22, RL15TD) is the first version of the document.

1 Flexi Multiradio BTS modules used in config-urationsThis section presents the following modules used in configurations:

Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS System Module (FSM) Flexi Multiradio BTS RF ModulesFor information about cabling the modules, see Cabling Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS LTE. Pay attention to the order in which the cables are connected.

1.1 Flexi Multiradio BTS System ModuleFlexi Multiradio 10 BTS System Module (FSMF) is used. The indicated optical interfaces are crucial for configurations.

g Note that: Flexi Baseband Module (FBBA) is optional, but needed in some configurations. In

such cases, the FBBA need is stated. When using only one FBBA, install it in the left-hand side slot and connect it to BB EXT1 port on FSMF core. When using two FBBAs, connect the second one to BB EXT2.

The EIF2/RF/6 interface can be used in two modes: as a transport interface or as a RP3-01 interface. The latter is for creating configurations.

1.2 Flexi Multiradio BTS RF ModulesFlexi Multiradio BTS RF Modules FZHA and FZNC are used.

    Figure 2 FZHA RF Module

    Figure 3 FZNC RF Module

g Note: Antenna numbers on the actual FZNC RF Module differ from those on Figure 3 FZNC RF Module. The actual antenna connectors (from left to right) are ANT1 to ANT8, although the FZNC is a six-pipe module. Thus, in the software implementation the connectors are presented in the same way as in the figure.

1.3 Flexi Multiradio BTS Remote Radio Head (RRH)Flexi Multiradio BTS RRHFZNI is used.
